Another great race weekend Leigh 😊 Thank you so much for the coverage 😊 Great job to Clay for getting as far as he did It will all keep our fingers crossed for the upcoming races 😊 Thanks again Darlin for the awesome updates ❤
You already know who i want to talk about Leigh. John trees one of the best in the series at reaction times and takes home His 157th Wally. Then names His eventual replacement in the shutdown area celebration. What a showing for John Force Racing. It was good to see Clay go a few rounds, never enough, but the 51 car is up to 7th in points and gets to run the Too Tasty Challenge at Bristol. It will be good to have You at that event to share it all with us. Thanks again for all Your efforts to share these events with us. Best Wishes to You, the Rick Ware Racing Top Fuel Team, all of Your Families and Friends. #RWR51 #JFR
Yes Force is STILL getting it done.. wow at his age it really is so cool to see ..& whew he got him a good replacement when. It’s time FOR SURE.. I’m excited to see Bristol too.. stay tuned 😉
@@jackmooney45 Hmmm, NHRA website showed unofficial results after Epping late yesterday evening the 51 car in 7th. The website hasn't been bombproof lately.
Ah, the second round was sweet! It's about time Clay got one back!! Good final, better if well, you know. Glad to see John get that win. Erica was snoozing. . . Thank you for your hard work Leigh.
Thanks Thomas .. I’m challenging my self with 2 series on the same weekend BUT I’ll be bored in winter so I’m rolling with it & appreciate yall rolling with me
Great videos! Thank you, because most of us never get to see the whole session at all, no matter what network is contracted it. Anyway remember in qualifying Clay said that his car felt slower, like it was a Top Alcohol tune up? That I would bet is what would have shined in that left lane. It couldn't handle no more than that. I was hoping Clay and Jim remembered that going rounds so in case he had to run in left. I really don't know too much at all about track prep etc, but it is just a shame that it becomes a 1 lane race. Takes the sport out of it completely. I am impressed that Clay and the team have been moving up 1 spot at a time in the last few races, and they are now solid in 6th place. Again thanks for the great quality races. I have to look at the schedule. I really can't stand this every 2 weeks racing lol. I need my fix weekly. I was going to go to this one, but it is quite the drive, and i have a sick pet who I wouldn't leave to anyone to care for because of meds etc. Clay is super lucky to have the family support that he has. Also I would love to congratulate Ol John Force. What an unbelievable legend. What a CLOSE race between him and Prock. 75 yrs old and still holding class on Sundays. Would you happen to know if Robert Hight is ok, and is he ever returning? I really don't care if he races again, that is 2nd to his health. The rumors are flying about his illness. If you know and can't say I fully understand. Thanks so much again for this great post!!
I always hate to see a 1 lane race too.. I hate it for the fans too.. we want to see 2 cars go down.. it puts a lot of trickery into them tune ups.. I sure wouldn't want that job as the tuner to have to figure it out.. one shot at it during eliminations wouldnt be no fun.. & yea Oh BIG JOHN still getting it done amazes me. Hadn't heard a word about Robert Height..
What a great race between Prock and Force!!! Nice to see John win. I was secretly hoping that Tony would beat Doug. Sigh. At least Clay put Steve on the trailer. Yesssssss !!! Can you tell I have my favorites?? LOL!!!! I was wondering why your shirt looked familiar, then realized I have it. ha ha. Great reporting on the race!!! Thanks Leigh!!!
Thanks for the recap, Leigh! Nice to see Clay go some rounds. Hopefully, he'll get have four win lights in a row soon. I'm looking forward to Bristol, as I've got tickets for Friday. 😁
Thanks for the recap..I didn't get to watch the race today .it's hard to find out what happened an who won but I can rely on you for the results.you do awesome .NHRA should hire you
@@leighmillicanhubbard :) Don't you dare worry about "their liking" even if that were true. I thought the same thing Shane did. You are a wonderful, smart, inspiring, beautiful, and fun. I had to hold my tongue when I replied to you about Hebron and National Trails. My family helped settle that small area and we came from WV as many did there and according to a dialect map it's unique to the entire country. People from KY and TN came in through south of Columbus and the story is similar. Our Appalachian heritage and before is amazing and we have always been a people of destiny for thousands of years despite how we may be portrayed and there's a reason for that. There's a reason we are great in creativity, science, and ingenuity like drag racing.
@@truealchemy1534 that’s awesome.. thank for sharing that .. I should’ve just left that word alone .. just said National Trail Raceway..that is a definite on my bucket list to visit ☺️
@@leighmillicanhubbard you said it right, or at least how we always said it, some Bible people say it differently but I think we lost track of hebrew a long time ago to know for sure, edit: OHH! and if you do visit there maybe you could catch up with superstar Roman Atwood and his family and have a blast, they live within a couple miles of there, figured you knew him through Cleetus.
Did you see the John Force interview. He announced that Austin Prock will take over his Funny Car when he retires. No date was mentioned but looks like this may be John’s final year. He also handed the Wally to a very shocked Austin!!
That was a good race,I watched it on TV but I still wanted to see your recap.. thank you Leigh you're awesome 💯.. have you heard anything about when camry might be back?
Thanks for the great coverage as always! The good news is our team is going to make Bristol , bad news I’m staying home to cover kid stuff , hoping to make Virginia
I’ll be by there in a few days..have some snacks & wine packed 😁… hopefully Clay will touch more on the belt situation .. I only got to talk to him very briefly ..
Great job liegh. We went to the race yesterday and got the Sunday results from your awesome broadcast. Clay was so cool to talk with us and sign some items. Go millican..!!
Leigh would love for you and Clay to do a video on what kind of money crew guys make working on crews for funny cars, top fuel and pro stock cars. Plus what drivers get paid like from the low to the highest paid. Do the drivers get all the purse money or does the team owner get it all or maybe the crew gets some. Never can find this info online and would be great for those wanting to get involved in working on a drag racing team they knew this stuff.
@@leighmillicanhubbard Ha. yeah well, I blame the IED we hit on bad hearing...and eyesight...I don't know your relationship to Mr. M, but his attitude through thick and thin really helps me. Take care.
Thanks for the info always appreciate the hard work and effort you apply to help keep drag racing alive. I don’t know what happened to Clays car but the belt is kinda what it acted like . 😎✌🏻
@@leighmillicanhubbard exactly that’s what I was thinking unless a bad batch of belts came through I don’t know thanks for all your input and support of this sport we love so much ✌🏻😎
I appreciate ya watching.. how long did ya hang watching War in the woods? I made it til 1 something when the car crashed I said that’s it I have to sleep ..hated to miss it though 😁
