What's NHS, it's a health care company?? So, when you wanna go to see a GP or other referral follow up, other health coverage providers. How do you go about it?? Or this is specific to deal with Caregiver such as nurse, health care aide, working with elders or patients with dementia sufferers.
A similar thing happened to a friend in my trust. She was told that she is smelling during a ward meeting. It really affected her mental health and she has being thinking of quitting. On the other hand, I love my unit because everyone is nice and supportive. We are both in the same trust
I was bullied in NHS from the time I was a student on placement to the time I started working for NHS. I did not only experience bullying in NHS. Help was not there. I left and not sure if I should go back in that abusive relationship.
You're just telling my story. I went through that as well, from a student to practising until I left. Sometimes, it's the trust or the ward that is toxic. Some people can be wicked.
I’m experiencing this with my unit. I finally spoke to one of the governance yesterday and I felt relieved but I’m still leaving because I know they will hate me more because I reported all of them by their names
She should change her unit its depend on people she is working with this happened in care home too(my friend use to do bank staff out of her trust she stopped Bcos of wetin her eye have seen going to other ward she decided to do her bank in her ward)
I can so relate! I’m at a point in my life where I question myself for everything now I have lost my confidence and just regressing in all aspects not that I don’t know but feel so insecure because of the toxic environment I’m working at NHS
I once got a brilliant advice from a video I watched some years back while I was in Nigeria. Ife Iyaniwura made a video and advised that if you’re having issues where you work before you change trust change your unit first or your role as some issues are just within the department and not really a reflection of the whole trust. If the said issue still persists then you can change trust. Fast forward to me coming to the UK, after working for a year and about 4 months my unit was draining me physically and mentally not the staff but the workload. I remembered that advice and decided to switch to PACU. That was the best decision I have made career wise. My health and wellbeing improved significantly and my colleagues are lovely apart from a few ekwensu here and there😂😂😂. Anyway sha, people learn everyday and I’m glad this lady was able to return to the Carehome where she loved and was appreciated.
I can relate to the nurse. My Line manager does not like me. I had to email my matron about her as she is,also disrespectful. The NHS is not nice. I totally agree with the nurse. The NHS will drain you mentally.
