Interactive Visualisations for Beginners in Python with Shiny Apps

Course Description:
Imagine coding an interactive demo and sharing it with the world within minutes. Your data could be displayed as maps or graphs, which change in response to sliders or dropdown menus. On this basic course we will make a jump from coding simple static graphs to being able to share interactive, visual and publicly available digital experiences. At last, you’ll be able to set your graphs free and share them with your collaborators, participants and funders.
During the workshop we will build a web application using Shiny Python. Our Full-Stack app (with server, client and data layers) will be written in Python (without HTML or javascript) but will be exported as an interactive online dashboard. This class is suitable to both advanced and beginner coders (so a basic understanding of Python or R is required).
During this interactive workshop you will collaborate with each other using pair programming (you will need camera and microphone) and we will code in an online interface, so no pre-installed software is required.
