Thanks for sharing this webinar! It was really insightful to hear from Laura Travis, Victoria Stone, and Alisha and Victoria gave us a good rundown on where things stand with international recruitment and how crucial international healthcare pros are to the NHS’s plans. Here are the key points I took away: Laura and Victoria gave us a good rundown on where things stand with international recruitment and how crucial international healthcare pros are to the NHS’s plans. -Alisha’s story as a Band 5 nurse in the UK since August 2023 was super inspiring. She shared her journey through the recruitment process, getting her visa sorted, and the awesome support she got from Torbay Hospital's team. Highlighting how important English skills and passing the CBT are for making it smoother. -For anyone thinking about nursing in the UK, they stressed the importance of keeping your docs like OET, IELTS, and CBT up to date. Also, knowing the lifestyle differences between big cities and quieter places like Devon can help when choosing where to apply. -They made it clear you need at least 12 months of post-grad experience, and during busy times, NHS might lean towards nurses with more experience. Good to know there’s room for career growth and funding for further studies within the NHS. -They also talked about how nurses from certain countries can apply directly to NHS hospitals, and how they value nursing degrees from different places equally. -It was really heartening to hear about NHS’s efforts to be inclusive, making sure nurses with disabilities get the support they need at work. Overall, this webinar gave some solid insights and tips for anyone looking to start a nursing career in the UK. Patience is key while NHS plans its workforce, and I’m looking forward to more updates and Q&A sessions from the Devon Alliance.
@ALISHASAYSBONJOUR Hello sister I was thinking that I will not go for academic classes I will go for experience in 3rd year of gnm nursing.. will that be considered as experience or it is compulsory to clear my 3rd year first please answer ❤
Hi Aisha, well-done you are doing a great job. I have passed CBT ,OET and OSCE, I am job hunting ,I would appreciate if you could assist me. Thank you.
Concerning red and amber list countries, what if there is government to government bilateral agreement like in the case of kenya, are you in a position to recruit as devon alliance nhs?
Hi Mam Thank you so much I had completed Ielts and CBT Waiting for the interview Instead there are few messages regarding that they may stop the recruitment... Kindly help regarding the UK NHS nurses recruitment updates please. I will be really thankful..
Hi Alisha, First of all, one of the best content piece you have put out there! ✨ Secondly, as the Devon recruitment team pointed that in the future they’ll be recruiting only nurses with 1 yr of exp. or more. So what would you recommend for me, as I’ll just be having 6+ months of experience by the time recruitment begins again.
Hi Priyanka 🙋🏻♀️ I’m glad that the video was useful , shall try to bring up more useful information and updates. Also, if you have already cleared the interview with them and they have sent you the offer letter, they will still generate the COS for you. It’s applicable for the new candidates who haven’t had the interviews with them yet.
@@ALISHASAYSBONJOUR I am a new candidate only. Cleared my CBT and IELTS. Also, all thanks to your material for CBT! That really helped. I was hoping you could ask them or any other recruitment agencies that.. will there be opportunities for people who just have 6 months of experience.
@priyankaa.sharma Like they have mentioned in the video , there is a huge competition so the preferences will be given to nurses with longer years of experiences.
My other question is can they still recruit me even if I’m from a red list country though my country of residence is South Africa which is not on the red list country? I will be applying from South Africa
I successfully completed the interview process with Devon in March. However, I have not yet received the offer letter. Information regarding deployment has not been provided by them.😢
@@dayanavpoul396 did they mentioned anything regarding the deployment in the conditional offer letter? I also passed the interview last month and they mentioned that deployment will be only in the next year.
