That's why its called a REMAKE. DON'T EXPECT THIS REMAKE TO BE THE EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL. Of course the original will always be the "Legend". I've been watching the 2018 version up to the latest version hell I could not stop my from smiling ear to ear. And besides the remake I think suited the time we have right now. Since mostly the viewers are millenials. Also I like the fact that they've lessen the bullying scenes. It less harsh and more realistic.
Although dylan he has a first drama but he's acting skills like, hmm.. you didnt expected that his a new actor in showbiz industry, so damn!! he's amazing and good actor in the future. Yah MG2001 is the legend but this MG2018 is the best among of them. And this is the first time i like dao ming si for shancai, before ilike hwa ze lie to shancai but now dylan changed my taste becoz if you watch the first episode of this drama they have a chemistry to his leading lady (shen yue) this new MG has more realistic. And dont comparing these two dramas becoz they have a own uniqueness and taste, acting skills to perform their character. To be honest dylan was the perfect dao ming si character ever. If you read in the book this story and how to describe dao ming si to the story the first you thought was dylan becoz he did a perfect character to portrait or to describe what dao ming si character it is. If you saw his acting skills in this drama as a dao ming si hes really great. Watch it first before you judge this drama. To be honest when i saw the trailer of MG2018 im not interested to watched this and i said MG2001 is the best but i'm curious what a scene they have so i watched the MG2018 the first episode was very interesting and i said wow very creative and the character here is very attractive and the way they portrait their character was amazing. I admit im wrong to judged this drama becoz im not already to watched this but after i finish this they caught my heart every scene. One word to described this drama "GREAT" and lesson learned before you judge some story drama or giving some statements. Same 🙏🏽 In 2001, my favorite was Jerry Yan and i hesitated to watch the new version because i loved the original MG but Dylan Wang changed all that. When i started watching the 2018 the new Dao Mingsi version effectively made me forget the legendary Jerry Yan. Dylan is equally good and if not for him the remake would have been weak. Shen Yue was good too but Barbie Hsu still played it better. Overall, I really like both Taiwanese & Chinese versions. ❤️❤️❤️
I love the ending of the remake one.. The "new" dao ming si is actually a smart ass and he proves his mother that he is capable to be the heir of Daoming Group 👍
When i first heard this song in Meteor Garden (Taiwan Ver) i can really feel the pain, the love and the emotion bringing by the singer and the song even though i don't understand the lyrics but now i think Penny have really struggle to sing her song, she cant even reach the high notes. But i still love this song forever it bring back a lot of memories.

The Original F4 is indeed from Taiwan, but The Original anime/ drama and story is from Japan. Don't forget it. That's why this new remake drama is mixed the Taiwan ver of F4 and story of Hana Yori Dango from Japan. Please don't compared this drama and the first Meteor Garden drama. Because I already know that F4 member is from rookie too. But after Meteor Garden booming, they become a professional actor and everyone know them. I love Zai Zai as Hua Zhe Lei and Jerry Yan as Dou Mingsi, also Love Oguri Shun as Hanazawa Rui and Matsumoto Jun as Doumyouji Tsukasa, Lee Min Ho as Go Jun Pyo. They become a great actor and actresses after cast in Hana Yori Dango😇 So please just enjoy the drama~
excuse me, the meteor gardenF 2018 version of China, hua ze lei role which is kuang hung is a taiwanese. from my perspective, china version collaborate also from Taiwan since the original F4 are really from Taiwan. And i can proudly say, I am from Taiwan

If you can see Dao Mingsi 2018 is look so similar Doumyouji Tsukasa character in every little thing😊 And when He support Sanchai in cooking competition like Doumyouji always supporting Makino Tsukushi in Beauty competition 😊

What I mean they have collaboration with f4 Taiwan is some Taiwan artist we're also there in the drama (meteor garden 2018) unlike the Korean version no actress of Taiwan went to be one of their cast. Do you understand my point. People should stop comparing. Even they keep saying Taiwan version is the good of all version, I will also support Chinese version.

im actually a big fan of the taiwanese version of meteor garden and to be very honest i didnt feel the other versions but this 2018 remake is something fresh, gotta admit i like this one better because the bully thing here isn't that much lol, yeah gotta give props to these young bloods who really are amazing in portraying each character! fell in love with shen yue and dylan wang as san cai and ah si here the first time i watched them

Yo he visto todas las versiones , taiwanesa metero garden con jerry yang y vic zhou la japonesa con matsumoto jun , la koreana con lee min ho y kim hyung joony puedo decir que esta versión china 2018 es muy buena , no podemos comparar entre todas , todas son muy buenas todas tienen algo similar ya que la historia se basa en el manga hana yori dango que tambien lo leí I have seen all versions of this serie , I’ve seen the taiwanese version , the Japanese version , the korean version and now the Chinese, all of are great for me , they have different things but they have the same plot since all of them are bases on the manga called hana yori dango wich I also have read it . I am enjoying the Chinese version but nothing compares to the Taiwan version.the acting was just superb.jerry yan and barbie hsu were really great actors.But hats off also to Dylan Wang its hard to surpass Jerry's acting but Dylan is making his own mark as the new dao ming si.couldn't think of someone else to do it.
