Oh cool, I try to either use "official" images, or else artwork clearly marked by the owner and made a bit of a goof here.

@@starshipreviews Nah it is oke, since it was used in a propper way. I don't think i can place steam links in youtube comments, to show proof of my claim. But that said, feel free to use my other Armada III screenshots for your videos if you have a use for them i'm cool with it. Like for example i have got a very nice screenshot of the USS Rutledge in the Badlands region, if you ever decide to make a video abot the New Orleans class. ;) My steamprofile has the same name so i'm easy to find.

True, there are rules. But given so many ships, even a few well liked ones, break them i am not sure how official they are.

AFAIK, the "rules" for starships was only a suggestion to the design team and not actual cannon law. As there are quite a number of these oddball ships that break the rules and have appeared on screen and are therefore cannon. I actually really like these ships that break the mold of cookie cutter ships of the line, they are unique and have character.

That's my thinking with them. Yeah they are different, but that makes them cool.

I don't think you can quite manage that. And it seems you need a third or fourth nacelle for some designs due to power and a desire to be able to sustain high speed. Essentially you can have with a three nacelle layout one nacelle resting while the others are in use, swapping as needed to let you keep going fast.

Compared to the Ambassadors, which are heavy cruisers they are quite small. By right the ambassador’s should be battleship’s which would make them heavy cruisers. But starfleet is weird

When you need a ship quick you can't complain how bad it looks.

I kinda like it. But yeah it was a rushed job. In universe and out.
