Lovely walking tour, and the rain just added something extra to the vibe, love it. Thanks very much for sharing with us my friend, I hope you had a great start to the new week... 🙂 Thomas
Hi Christine, thank you for outstanding walking tour in the wet weather. I love night illuminations. glow, of course Niagara. I really have to make a plan for it. well done, Christine and thank you
Good evening, Christine and friends.🤗 Goodness, Niagara Falls looks enticing even in the rain✨️ I tried to join the live-streamed night walk from this VIA Rail Canada train, but the spotty WiFi didn't allow me. I'm enjoying the replay, though, as the train travels back to Montréal. Wishing you all a very good night.❤
Good evening Gabriela! I hope you’re having a wonderful time in Montreal. I saw some of you live in Quebec today. It’s so beautiful. Enjoy the rest of your time in Canada! Thanks so much for taking time to watch. 😊🇨🇦
Ooo love a good walking tour! Love the reflections on the wet floors and the sound the cars make swooshing through! The bright lights look so colourful against the gray dramatic skies! Then it comes even more alive the darker it gets! Such a fun place! So much to see and do! We enjoyed this evening stroll with you Christine ❤
It's a truly beautiful setting and soothing sound. I want to make this video full screen and run it on my computer instead of using a screen saver. That's very cool. I support you! 👍
Hello. I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed the rain sound and the scenery. I appreciate you stopping by and thank you for coming along for the walk. Have a great week. 😊🇨🇦
Thats cool you can get papa johns pizza by the slice. Did you ever try thier Zesty italian trio pizza or the BBQ chicken bacon pizza with exrea BBQ sauce? Those are the best. Has anyone asked Mayor Jim if he was going to bring back the New Years Eve celebration concerts? Niagara Falls needs that back. I was at the one with Bryan Adams in i think 2019 or 2020, but i dont think they've had one since. For years i always brought my kids to Niagara for Christmas and New Years and would like to start that with my grandkids. The concerts, the Festival of lights, the atmosphere... You couldn't beat it.
Hi Ron. Yes it’s good pizza and nice amount of pepperoni on it. I have not tried the pizza you mentioned yet but it sounds delicious. I wish they would bring back the concerts too…many others have also wondered. The festival of Lights is my favourite. I think your grandkids would love it! I haven’t heard anything about if they are bringing back the NewYears Eve concerts. Thanks for coming on the rainy walk in the falls. 😊🇨🇦
Hi Christine, loved the rainy vibe. It made the reflections from the lights look so beautiful. It was great to hear the pattering of the raindrops and the splashing sounds of the cars through the water. Thanks for sharing this with us 🤗❤
Wow that was a long walk in the rain, pls tell me you didn't have to walk all the way back ! Nice seeing many of the places we like. I didn't know there was a Dollar Tree there. Glad you stopped to eat, thankyou Christine 🇨🇦Happy Thanksgiving 🇨🇦
@@joysiee5060 hi Joysie! Your welcome! I walked back where Al Macs is I parked not too far from there. Now next time your in the falls you can check out Dollar Tree. The pizza was delicious and thanks so much for coming on the rainy walk. Have a wonderful weekend! 😊🇨🇦
Hi Christine, Nice to see you out and about there in our favorite place. To bad the weather did not co-operate with the rain and all. It was great taking everything all in once again and you always capture it perfectly. Looking forward to being back again next Thursday or Friday and taking it in all again for us to. 🙏👍😊🌊. Have a great rest of the week.
Hi Mark. I enjoyed the rain…that why I picked that time to walk. I wanted to experience the sights of a rainy day in the falls ☔️👍 thanks for your kind comment. Only a couple days and you’ll be back! Thanks for coming along for the walk! 😊🇨🇦
Great walking tour Christine!! I love a nice walk in the rain 🙂 Despite the rain, it was a beautiful video, especially Clifton Hill! All the lights were lovely. I had a laugh when you walked by Al Mac's and both you and Adam commented about not going there. I ate there once years ago for the breakfast buffet and it was terrible. I wonder if it has gotten any better. I also wanted to mention about the Oakes Hotel development mentioned in the live chat. City Council did approve the project at the last meeting but there was no discussion about a new casino. That topic has been in the news however, as both Doug Ford and Mayor Diodati have mentioned they would like to break the monopoly that Mohegan Gaming has over the current casino structure. Currenlty, the agreement with Mohegan goes through 2040 and Ford is trying to open renegotiations that would allow other operators to enter the casino market before that date. It was also mentioned at the council meeting that Ontario Lottery and Gaming wrote a letter expressing their opposotion to the new hotel development on the Oakes property. I would love to see that letter as I don't know why they would be against a development that would bring many more guests to within a stones throw of the Fallsview Casino. Thanks for the walk!! 🙂🇨🇦
Hi Tom. I’m so glad you enjoyed the rainy night walk…I did too! I agree the lights looked lovely and all the reflections from the rain 👍. Lol ya Al Mac’s…I don’t know how it is now either. Thanks for the info about the development of the Oakes hotel. I’ll have to make sure I get some videos of it before it changes. I’m thinking it’s a matter of time and more hotels will be coming. Thanks for coming along for the walk. I appreciate your support. Have a great week. 😊🇨🇦
Man, I miss the old Lundy's Lane from back in the 80's and 90's. They had nice putt putt golf, the outside waterslide park , where the outlets are, Capolo sports where i got all my hockey equipment, now its what, a new highrise hotel complex, hotel prices were dirt cheap on Lundy's Lane, great restaurants, at least the Flying Saucer is still there. Man, I miss the old days.
Ron I remember both of the mini golf places on Lundy’s Lane…one was Super putt which was a really nice mini putt and the other was a dinosaur golf lol. Yes I heard stories about how fun the water park was even though I never been. Cupolos was a nice sport store. Hopefully the Saucer remains, I love the Flying Saucer. Thanks for sharing all the great memories of places! Have a great week. 😊🇨🇦
