This year while visiting Niagara Falls, we decided to camp at Four Mile Creek State Park on the shores of Lake Ontario. We're so glad we did! Pretty nice campground, and it provided a nice perk for parking at the falls. What's your favorite place to stay when visiting Niagara Falls?

We haven't been to NF for over 25 years, back before all those casinos. Is there still the "Waltzing Waters" fountain show on the Canadian side? Another night light show with music, along with the Canadian Rainbow lights. Do you all have to get PASSPORTS to cross the Rainbow bridge? Did you all catch any fish? (fresh, pan fried over a camp fire!)

We didn't go to the Canadian side because yes, you need passports (under 18 just a birth certificate). We just kept it simple this year, but there is a lot to do on the Canadian side! We didn't go fishing either, but there are plenty of places to do so (with a license of course). I will say the state parks on the US side are being kept up and refurbished nicely!

Was the water easy to get too for use in your camper? We were supposed to be going to Fort Clinch state park in Florida this weekend (I had commented on that before) but now a tropical storm seems brewing and need a backup plan and thought of here. We are in a tiny 40 year old pop up so not really safe for high winds or heavy rain.

If you mean water for your fresh water tank, yes, it was easy. It's one of those parks where there are multiple spots around the sites to fill up. The one we chose was about 20 feet from the road though!

@@LivingaLifeFulfilled thanks. Well we don't have a tank. We turned Roundup sprayers into a sprayer for washing dishes and hands. We adapted it with a kitchen sprayer. So we would just be filling those up. Was there a lot of privacy for the spots not on the water? There's a few spots left closer to the front of the park it looks like, near what seems like a playground on the map.

@@steveorner7919 The sites away from the water, and especially in the middle of the park by the playground, are definitely more open, but they are still at least a good distance apart. Very spacious if nothing else. I try using Google Earth or maps to see my sites from above!
