ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

I saw Christine sing this hundreds of times and I KNOW she approved! At first I thought “hang on! She’s singing “Songbird”! Good luck with that! 🫣 So I went from 😬to 🤯😢😇☺️in one note! She brings an otherworldly tone to the stage. She seems like such a free spirit, but kept this controlled and tapped into the emotion of the lyric, had Niall singing along. Another very emotional performance.

I love Alexa! She is a beautiful young woman inside and out. Her voice is so perfect and natural. She has always had a pure tone. I am so grateful to have been her voice teacher while at Orange County School of the Arts and to have known her and her parents. They are wonderful people and so supportive. This song was actually written by Christine McVie. That makes it even more special in my book because the words so encapsulated Christine's love of people and life. Alexa puts these lyrics into her own song with the same exact message and delivery that Christine would have appreciated. Love this song. Wish I could hear the long version with Alexa singing it. Wow! Very impressed!!! It’s like Christine dropped down to earth for the moment and was singing along with her in approval. Absolutely lovely. Hearing Christine sing this more times than I can count, I thought “this here is a lofty choice of songs for this young lady! I hope I don’t feel cringy for her!” Far from cringy! Pure, authentic emotion. Those are the words I would use to describe Phil Collins. Though confident and pitch-perfect should be added for him. To be compared to Mr. Collins, I hope is viewed as a supreme compliment and look forward to hearing more from Alexa, a fellow Coloradan.
