Such a beautiful song and so beautifully performed.

Watching this in 2021 and it’s crazy how this guy went from “patatoeeeee” and “pop sugar sugar pop sugar pop pop” to this. Sadly I wasn’t old enough to be into a boy band when they were still together but I listened to their music without knowing who they were everyday and now I look back at old videos of them and it makes so so proud to see how far they have come. Just a week ago I became obsessed with 1D and I was in the shower so I decided to put on a 1D Spotify playlist and I broke down in tears as I realized almost all of the songs I played on a loop swinging on the swing in the summer in my backyard were sung by them. And as the memories flooded back so did the tears. these guys did so much for my younger self as I was not a social kid. I hope one day I can thank them each in person and tell them how proud I am of how far they have come they are truly my inspiration to live an amazing life.

A few months ago, I saw Niall in concert. By the time it came to this song, I started crying & my best friend turned to me & said "what's wrong?" I told her, "it's just so beautiful." And then she hugged me. It was one of the most beautiful moments in my life & I hope I remember it forever.

There's such a domestic sense of nostalgia that comes with this song and so many others of his. It's this thing that makes you miss a time so vaguely but so deeply.

Niall is the most pure and beautiful songwriter I have seen in a while. And that's saying a lot because I adore Harry's songwriting as well. They are both talented in their own ways. Niall's musicality is so raw, that it just tears something inside of you.

I've been a fan of one direction before, but for 1-2 months I was listening to their songs constantly and watching their random videos more often. After that I started to have a major crush on Harry and I would listen to his songs every night before sleeping. And I never focused on any members' solo careers except Harry. But now I'm falling for Niall's songs too and realizing that he has also created some masterpiece and he is really an underrated artist.
