Niall Horan joins GLAMOUR UNFILTERED to reveals he has learnt a lot about himself following a breakup and how the, "last 18 months has really changed me as a person and I feel like I'm a bit more prepared for life." Ahead of the release of his second album, Heartbreak Weather the former One Direction star talks about the power of brotherhood, how he 'went to the audition and never came home,' the pressures of growing up in the public eye and why he, "feels sorry," for Justin Beiber having to face the pressures of public eye alone and why he's grateful for the One Direction boys. I wish there were more interviews like this. The interviewer let him talk. The camera focused on him, often in close up so we got a good view of his amazing eyes.❤ And he was asked questions about HIMSELF and how he feels about things. Without being constantly interrupted. I really wish people on the internet would listen to what he is saying here about hate comments. On Twitter, he's talked about how horrible, in particular, the abuse the females in this industry get and people were alluding to the fact he was defending his friends like Camila Cabello and Selena Gomez who get enormous amounts of abuse for no reason. Abusing someone is never justified, it does not matter how bored you are please check yourself. Have we not learnt from the Caroline Flack incident?

"Keep smiling...that's the way it should be" Absolutely LOVE it. It is true that out of all the former 1D's he was & is the more carefree one who enjoyed it a lot more and whose sparkle/twinkle in his eyes has not dimmed or died down like his other mates. I mean it is sad to see the earlier days of Harry, Zayn, Louis & even Liam and compare that grin to grin cheeky smile/smirk and giggle of the earlier days and to see it slowly die down under the guise of "maturity" or boyhood to manhood is rather sad because it is mainly success and the ownership the fandom felt they had over them to scrutinize EVERYTHING about them was no doubt suffocating and the real culprit for the by product of who they are today. More cautious, guarded & understandably jaded. Absolutely wonderful interview and a chance to actually get into the essence of HIM. I mean there was no question of who he is dating or of he likes them younger or older or if he is a womanizer or which celebrity he banged! All of which would have been an unfortunate subject matter that would have been brought up on some form or another had it been Harry Styles! Oy!

Liam teaches us to keep going by being himself. He was born almost dead. He was in the hospital most of the time till the age of 7. He didn't have a kidney till the age of 18 and had to get 32 vaccines every day as a pain reliever when he was very young. He was extremely bullied in childhood. He is trolled even now and gets hate for no reason. He was turned down 22 times. Yet, he manages to keep that bright smile on his face that lights up the world of millions and keeps me going... He has been through a lot and faces it all bravely... I want to be as strong as him...

it's 2 AM in the morning and i'm literally crying over this interview. He's just so pure and I can't imagine how difficult it was for him to go thru everything to be niall horan that the entire world know now. That must be very hard when started this career at 16 especially when many people doubted his amazing voice and got only a few part of lyrics for him to sing it. However, he's still managed to smile and be that a very cheerful member of 1d. His speech for 10-years-ago-niall at the end of the video was so beautiful ❤️😭

When I hear Niall talk, I always think "What a solid guy!" I don't think any of us should underestimate how good it is to have people in the public eye who are realistic and solid! Gosh, I couldn't help but relate to how he just shakes his body in nervousness, when he has to breathe in quickly because of how tense he feels, the pauses, the sutters, everything. I was never a directioner and only had a brief period of listening to their songs back in my middle school years, so I never really knew much about them besides Harry Styles' LGBTQ aesthetic nowadays. This is the first One Direction related video I've seen in 4 years and I can already relate to Niall so much within the first few minutes.

Interviews like this make me see he like the amazing, friendly, talented and normal person he is. Every time he talks I just wanna enter into my screen for be in the same room and hug him. firstly, this interviewer was great, they actually had a proper conversation! i really appreciated that. secondly, goodness gracious niall's eyes are absolutely gorgeous

I really like this interviewer a lot ! He's so good at really showing interest in the artist and not trying to get the most juicy story out of it, but just really focusing on what the artist is saying, same with the Louis interview! Really nice and personal interviews without fishing for the juiciest gossip or whatever bs
