i think it was liam who said that niall was the one who really didnt wanna take a break, like he was the last one to agree or something. he wouldve been fine with going on, maybe with a year off and then back on, but this hiatus clearly is a bit longer one. but its good, hes said he will make sure they get back together even if he has to do it himself and get the boys, so you know, reassuring that the reunion will happen one day lol

i think he really is an old soul. whenever he is asked about dating he follows with a line that he is not ready to settle down, he is just 23. Like he knows having a girlfriend is a serious thing and would most likely lead to "settling down."
