“Still” was the quickest song I’ve ever written. I wrote it in about seven minutes. I was in the studio and then the people I was working with went for dinner and I was in the studio on my own and I picked up this guitar which was in a weird tuning and I started singing and didn’t stop. I kept going and wrote that I’m still in love with you, after all of these songs I’ve written, the punchline is, ‘I’m still in love with you’. You’re apologising and you’re doing a bit of self-deprecation and then at the end, ‘I’m still in love with you’. NIALL ABOUT THIS SONG

The whistling part gets me cause it's like he just told us this whole story and he's leaving us with the hurt and just walking into the sunset whistling.

This is the Second Best and Vunrable Song of Niall after Flicker

The Lyrics of this song are phenomenal

This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. The way it starts so slow and becomes bigger and bigger and ends with 40 seconds of just instruments and whistles. The best way to finish such an amazing album. After all the ups and downs, from nice to meet ya and small talk, to put a little love on me and san fransisco,"I'm still in love with you and we'll be alright". A masterpiece.

Dress is a sad one too and nothing is more on the rock verge, it's one of my personal favourites. Also Niall and Anne-Marie just covered "everywhere" from Fleetwood Mac for BBC children in need. Niall puts so much thought and emotion into the lyrics and instrumentation of his songs. His voice is so amazing too, which people have disputed for years, but I’m not sure what they’re talking about bc his voice is so nice.

The album is about the different phases in a relationship. Starting off with first meeting then going to the honeymoon phase and then taking it to fast. After all that they break up and he sleeps with other women trying to get over her. So this song just brings it all together with him confessing that he is still in love with her. So this is after a break up

FINALLY THE REACTION WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR

It’s a beautiful song and definitely a punch in the gut to be ending on. The amount of pain he must have been in is unbearable to even think about. This song resonates with me so much. This is pretty much the feelings I have for the man I married and who I have a child with. We’ve been separated for almost 14 years, not divorced, it’s a long story but we’re now on different continents and long story short, I’m still in love with him. No matter how loud I shout this at him or how I word it doesn’t make a difference to the situation yet neither of us will take the step to legally end it. It’s hard for most people to comprehend this situation we are in and the fact we are not divorced after all this time apart.

His beautiful voice through this whole song just melts my heart. ♥️

I love this song so much and for me this is definitely my most favourite song of Niall's! It has become my comfort song, especially in this pandemic and I've cried so much listening to this song. The lyrics, the instrumentation, the vocals, the whistles...everything is just so beautiful! He told us that, he was in the studio with the people he works with and there was this lunch break so the others went out to eat, while he was still sitting there and he just picked up his guitar which was in a weird tuning and he started playing this tune and wrote the entire song in just 7 minutes. And then he cried because it is also one of the most vulnerable songs he's ever written. After a whole album about breakup, he's ending with a song which says that, "I'm still in love with you" and that is why this is a perfect ending track that sums up "Heartbreak Weather", the album. Next, I would recommend that you listen to the bonus track, Dress and then Nothing.

Still and Fine Line (the song) are like sisters, at least i take them this way. You really really should react to Fine Line and of course it's also best to do as last song of the album because it is one. Still is just addictive, I could easily listen to it all day long and not get bored. Somehow it puts me in productive mood even though it's not such a fun song but it's very inspirational to me. As far as I know Niall said that he wrote this song within 7mins Like what the hell?? He wrote one song's chorus in his sleep and then this song in 7mins??? He is so underrated. I know that he is hella famous but I would still say that he is underrated cuz this man's talent way more higher than his fam. He can never be overrated.
