i just googled one of my Etsy bestsellers and mine was pretty high in the shopping results as well as being a google ad - Etsy must be advertising it through google... keep up the great content!

I tagged correctly, never spammed. Got a few likes from my correctly tagged and described designs and BAM! My first design which is not correctly tagged and which has no description is sold. Just like that. I totally forgot that I had a design like that. Life is interesting, that is all I want to say. Btw this sale happened just before I hit 3rd month with 150 designs. I keep uploading, it is gonna be a long journey for me. BTW do you suggest Vexel Lifetime membership? Have you ever looked at it? Excuse me if I made any grammatical mistakes.
That was very interesting way to research. RedBubble says you do not need to add the product in your tagging. But, the two samples you mentioned did. All their tags ended with the word stickers. What are you thoughts about that?
I have heard thatbit doesn’t help... but I think it doesn’t hurt, so there is no downside. I think the algorythm is so complex that I would rather add it and be done with it!
u don't need to add the product in your tagging because Redbubble already does it for you, the tags that you saw with the product in it was done by red bubble. for example if you tag cat and the product you are selling is a sticker, it will show up as cat sticker. if your product is a shirt , ill show up as cat shirt. you dont need to manually do it.
This is not correct I think. Tags are only used for redbubble. Google uses title and descriptions so you need to copy title and description more than tags to list high on google
You forget the fact that these sellers probably listed those Ireland designs yeaaaars ago and have ranked overtime so it's no wonder they can get away with only so few tags. Now that way wouldn't do you any favors unless the niche is tiny tiny small.
Yes that is what they say - so my attitude is use the tags to get near the top of Redbubble, and then being near the top of Redbubble gets you on 1st page of Google. So tagging could help albeit indirectly.
Hey there - it’s tough to forecast for a print on demand site (you could have 3,000 designs and have 3 sales, or 100 designs and have 3,000 sales). It also depends on how much time you are dedicating to it. That is a tough question. I would suggest maybe a high end, medium and low end guess on sales? Like if you had 500 designs, you might get 3 sales a day high end, 0.5 sales per day medium and 0.1 sales per day low end. Again those numbers are total guesses because it really depends on the quality of the design and (more importantly) which niche you are in. Good luck with the grant!
