Please so many do. Mothers are terrible people just cover it up most of the time.. having a good mother is a blessing. Everyone else has to live with it secretly.
I watched a documentary on the Cowsills. They were a family band from the 60s and early 70s. If you know the song, the Rain, the Park and Other Things; it's a song they sang. Their father was their manager and was horrible. Abused them, mismanage their money. People blame Hollywood for this type of stuff, no look at their own families.
Rip Aaron Carter . So sad that a mother would do this to him . That was his career and he should have what money that career made for him . Rip Aaron Carter . So sorry Nick Carter
NOT TRUE🤬🤬🤬🤬 Nick TRIED to help Aaron SEVERAL TIMES, and PAID for several stunts in rehab but Aaron just wasn’t ready. Nick grew up in the SAME DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY as Aaron. He became an addict himself and when he got clean and Aaron wasn’t ready; he needed to distance himself so he didn’t get sucked back in. And he only had a restraining order AFTER Aaron threatened to killed Lauren when she was pregnant with their oldest daughter Sairse

@@kristanarcidiacono921 I never said Nick did NOT try to help Aaron. I know he did. Spent a lot of money on him too! But that does not negate the fact that in the end, he abandoned Aaron. Yes, they grew up in the same dysfunctional family. But there is one major difference between Nick and Aaron. While they both suffered from addiction and Nick did in fact get help and so far its been successful, Aaron suffered from mental illness. This was proven. Its much more difficult for a person who's mind is ill to overcome addiction. Because their brain doesn't function correctly. Aaron needed MORE support and MORE love because of his mental illness.
@@retroguy9494HOLD ON A SEC. He only took out a restraining order AFTER Aaron threatened to kill his wife an unborn child.. Think about it. Would you want your husband to take legal action to PROTECT you if his sibling threaten to kill you or your children or would you rather he DO NOTHING, and just PRAY they didn’t KILL YOU!!!! Would you want your husband to TAKE THAT RISK?!?! Or if this is a guy who wrote this; would YOU take the risk?!
@@kristanarcidiacono921 Well, since my SN is Retro GUY, I think its a pretty safe bet I'm a guy! But I could still have a husband. The Supreme Court says I can! But in all seriousness, to answer your question; Aaron suffered from mental illness. This was discussed and confirmed on an episode of The Doctors where Aaron admitted it and showed all the medicine he takes for it. It was the illness that most likely caused him to make those threats. If he WERE my little brother, I would want to see that he got the help he so desperately needed. Even if I had to get a guardianship over him to do it. I wouldn't have abandoned him like Nick ended up doing. Wife or NO wife!
Great song🎶🎵🎧🎤🙏😃Backstreet is beautiful ❤️ They had to grow up way too fast...very sad 🙏 alot of pressure on one person to deal with.Prayers RIP Aaron🙏
Don't offend Leslie, they were all forced to take sides back then. It's a shame how parents are apparently able to use and manipulate their kids. This makes me thankful to have parents like mine
i just noticed that most of the popular 90's celebrities had gone through drugs addiction or mental issues such as Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and the list goes on
The side effects of the drugs including perscription drugs he was using in addition to his mental illnesses. It all wore him down and showed on the outside as well. And he never really found true lasting happiness in his life and it also took a toll. When you’re truly and genuinely happy it shows, but when you’re not it also shows.
Ok what I don't understand is why the mom took Aaron's money but not Nick's money? Nick's was famous first. But Aaron didn't have to sing. He chose too sing. Probably to get famous like Nick.
@@cosmokramer5055 and I definitely wouldn't have a TV show on the air to show the world how a family fights daily. Like the carter's did. I mean what was the purpose of doing that tho ? It's ridiculous. I think Aaron wanted to die to satisfy his family who hated him for his mental health and addiction. It's sad he's gone. But now nick is sad only because Aaron is dead. Yet apparently angel and nick put restraining orders on Aaron because they didn't want to deal with how he was acting. Well I have borderline personality disorder and I removed myself from my family recently because I didn't want to deal with them either. But I don't do drugs or anything to cope. Removing myself was a better way then any other way in my opinion.
I just wanna say that if you are a parent and if your gonna make your kid(s) a star, you should let them have the money they're making with whatever they're doing, or you might turn out like this, though I wouldn't say Aaron's makin that much money these days cause he hasn't had a hit in years because he hasn't released anything
I think Aaron could not get over the fact that he was never the celebrity that his brother was. He was not as talented and not as good looking. If he could have just realized this at a young age he might have went on to have a normal life. He just used his brothers fame to get a spot opening for Britney Spears. That was his career. You don’t make a ton of money opening for another artist. You just get some exposure. He never had any hit songs and never had a successful solo tour. He never really had a career to speak of.
He was huge when I was a kid. He made music for movie soundtracks too. He had amazing talent at a young age and was a natural in the spotlight. I don’t think you realize how big he could’ve been if he didn’t endure the trauma he went through. His sister died of drug overdose and his mother struggles with addiction also. It’s generational trauma. Aaron was a sweet sweet soul who had a lot of darkness in his life sadly. May he Rest in peace.
He, like all other people make the choice to deal with his issues or run from them. No one has a perfect childhood. But eventually you have to deal with your problems. He was only in the public eye because of who his brother was. That why he never has a song anywhere near the top 10 and received almost no radio play. What little success he had was his family trying to cash in on the backstreet boys who were legitimately one of the most successful pop groups of all time.
You actually sound like a hater. i know he became famous because of brother but that was not his choice his mother wanted fame and money so she used Aaron but do you realise his albums went 3× platinum and was super famous as a kid literally made 50k - 100k per show(HIS OWN SHOW NOT BRITNEY SPEARS) made atleast 100 million before the age of 18 and that entire money was stolen by his parents eventually leaving him bankrupt. But one thing I agree with is that he should have taken responsibility for himself
@@malkinmalone You have no idea how trauma affects a child and how that can stick with you throughout your life. Your childhood years are the most important for developing coping skills. He was never TAUGHT coping skills as a child; so he never learned how to overcome things in the future either. He developed CPTSD and he never had a chance to develop a good self esteem or sense of self worth.
Aaron was a sweet, sensitive, loving child.. not to mention talented and beautiful. His mother did not deserve him. He always looked sad & broken coz he never received that unconditional mother’s love so essential for a child. That gives somebody emotional safety, security and confidence in oneself. Drugs were a consequence of this childhood neglect & exploitation. Poor kid struggled & tried so hard and had no one in the end. Rest in peace talented Aaron😢
Despite all that, Aaron as a grown man and had long since been responsible for his own choices. You can't blame your parents for every bad thing in your life forever. Aaron's demons were his own. Sad ending to his life.
@@dextermoore278 Lost of people in the world have horrible parents and they don't turn to drugs and alcohol. Mental illness aside, he was still responsible for his own life once he became an adult. Maybe he wasn't equipped to handle all life dealt him and that's has parents' fault, but as he became a man, he could have chosen a different path. He didn't and now he's paid for it with his life. That is a tragedy.
@@JenniferClark24 WHAT IS REALLY TRAGIC IS PEOPLE LIKE YOU. You actually think you are better than Aaron and you're not. You are just another TROLL who has no empathy for people who are struggling. Get off your ass and help people,
Money isn't everything. A mother's love is priceless. The Carter boys are beautiful. So sad they didn't grow up with care and affection. More power, Nick. Vaya con Dios, Aaron.
All Aaron ever wanted was his brother by his side, and genuine love from his family. He was a very sensitive boy, and grew into a sensitive man… but didn’t know how to live in a world, when everything was falling apart. I truly wish he didn’t have so many internal struggles.
Concur completely God bless you Yes poor Arron Carter, indeed were an extremely sweet sensitive soul He even stood up for Lou Pe@rlm@n where no one else did He ws one in a Million for sure🕊️🕊️🕊️✨☘️🙏
Nick tried to help him so many times though and Aaron pushed him away. Nick had to draw the line when Aaron threatened his then unborn child and his wife.
@@Chamathkaraperera I,m not sure the rumours of him threatening nick n his unborn Child were even true 🕯️ Didn't Arron cleim that this were mede up stirring lies from someone?🤔😢😓
@@mes1220 They had a restraining order against him. Even his twin sister Angel had a restraining order against him. How can you take Aaron's word for anything? Aaron was a pathological liar, he lied about their mom and he defended her after she used him for all those years, he lied about his sobriety multiple times. He claimed he once died and came back to life. He defended Lou Pearlman too.
People feel sorry for him because his story was told and documented, but many drug addicts on the street have similar stories in terms of how he felt and the parent issues, and no one gives a fuck about them. I knew a girl who was a love child from an affair on a holiday, she was mixed race in a family of white people, she grew up knowing she was the odd one out, needed the love, ended up doing drugs and becoming an escort then she killed herself. Suddenly all these people that passed her off as a nitty were like "How tragic!" Tis a mad world.
5:43 I'm a mother and I don't agree with anyone who thinks like that.. if my kid was a star, I wouldn't feel entitled to ALL OF THEIR MONEY..WTF. she's terrible.
Such a sweet young man he was adorable as a child and It seemed he would go far so so sad he had a tough life and it ended this way my heart is broken for him n his family and friends my thoughts and prayers go out to all of my sincere condolences
@@Shanniagains I mean like I dunno if she does social media all that much but there’s no statements in the paper or magazines or anything. Now she’s either a monster or she’s grief stricken and won’t speak up because shes afraid she’ll get blamed. Which she will and is. Because she’s at fault. Now it was Aaron’s responsibility to get clean but all he wanted was her his mothers love and he got that with the drugs. Because he thought he couldn’t get one without the other. Which is heartbreaking. Hopefully Jane gets clean. She still has 3 kids. And grand babies. Though she might be too far gone too.
@@Jamie_Jewel yes. Aaron said that his mother was dying from alcoholism. But again Aaron said a lot. I feel for Nick. Aaron was lost. I don’t think anything could have saved him.
Shame on the ppl who thought exploiting a 10/11 yr old was ok. Aaron wasn't even capable of understanding that being in the music industry was a job not just for fun. Too bad he didn't overcome his drug problems. Nick seems really upstanding.
This is just so sad. It was heartbreaking to learn that his traumas were just too much for him to conquer. I hope now he at least has endless love and peace. RIP Aaron
Predictable end when your parents only value you for what you can do for them. His sister met the same fate & they were trying to make her a star too. Pimping your kids out for fame & money should be illegal; instead, doing so on RU-vid & other social media sites for $0 is now the norm. Our lawmakers give 0 fucks about children.
This interviewer is awful. She forced her kids into showbusiness where they were taken advantage of by so many- he was nine and his life was ruined by the fame- it was not his choice or his money; she used him. They owned a business, not poor people, and had a drinking problem. He tries to play her as the victim. Look when two of your kids die before 34 and most of them have nothing to do with you, you messed up.
Damn... too think that this moment.. he was still hiding the serious hurt he had received !... watching this then watching the newest most recent interview is just heartbreaking. I hope the truth gets revealed about all of them.
If Aaron would have stuck with Nick he could of had a chance. This right here was Nick trying to save him the lifetime of hell that he ultimately ended enduring because of their mom. HEARTBREAKING, such a sweet guy
Nonsense. Nick was a terrible brother. He beat up Aaron and always made him feel small and worthless. Watch "House Of Carters" 2006 reality show. The amount of times Aaron would beg his brother to stop hurting him and just be nicer is heartbreaking.
Oh yea...Nick was REAL sweet alright. I guess that's why he basically ended up giving up on Aaron and even signed a restraining order against him instead of realizing Aaron was suffering from mental illness and getting him the help he so desperately needed!
@@edselgreaves6503HEY!!!!!!🤬 Nick was going through his OWN addiction during this time and he felt responsible for his four siblings while they were all living together for this show. Yes he was at his worst during this show; drug addiction plus extreme stress combined and would lose it. But that’s NOT the REAL NICK; just like the live streaming; going off on fans WASN’T the REAL AARON.
Mother was a user, simple as that, she should have taken a 20% management fee like anyone else, but no, to her own children she decided to take a 100% fee, taking everything from her own kids, anyone else would go to jail if they did that to their talent.
It's sad to see what can happen when you grow up in the spotlight and the pressure as a kid Nick came out of it stronger but Aaron it's just really sad to see him go downhill and he looks like he was on his way back to a healthy outlook and now he's dead RIP Aaron you will be missed
Yeah well Nick had 4 other guys to share his burden with. Aaron was doing everything solo and had no one to turn to. There's been so many times when he basically begged Nick to be a better brother so they could connect more, but Nick was always violent abusive and condescending to him.
@@edselgreaves6503Hey Nick had his issues he was dealing with too!!!! He was an addict himself for a decade. When he got better he tried several times to get Aaron help and PAID for SEVERAL STINTS IN REHAB but Aaron just wasn’t ready. So Nick HAD TO distance himself from Aaron if he wanted to stay clean after pulling himself out. So don’t just accuse him of acting a certain way without KNOWING the reason why?!??
@@kristanarcidiacono921 I'm not talking about addictions. It was Leslie who introduced Aaron to huffing, so that's her fault. But there was a period of time when Nick and Aaron could have connected and been each others support system before Aaron fell into drugs. Maybe Nick wasn't in that proper headspace, but the point is Aaron was a gentle soul who was always looking for love and connections, and his family let him down. Living alone was the worst thing that could have happened to him. People like Aaron need lots of friends and family in the house to keep him happy.
Very good looking guys they just needed more parental back up it's hard to make it in that industry without it that's why they Kardashians are so protected they have a strong mom backing them that genuinely loves and cares for her kids
She wanted fame for Aaron but wouldn't you think that after she saw what Nick went threw she would want to keep the rest of her kids out of that? Money Hungry...
She wasn't a good mom. When she was live on IG with Aaron. She public talked trash about Nick making fun of him being on Masked Singer. What kind of mother is that,? I think she was behind Aaron and Nick's fued.
