Cordelia Brown yeah. It was pretty obvious she was a paid tag along. That was all. She didn’t take initiative to handle anything for her like assistants do. I think Jessica was lonely and feeling very isolated and unhappy with nick and bringing a good friend in was just the buffer and companionship she needed to avoid nick as much as possible. People who are really miserable in relationships always look for a third person to come in and rescue them from too much intimacy and alone time they really don’t want with their partner.
Better question. Since she moved in rent free and luxury to travel w Jess as “assistant” which she didn’t do and tells nick vacuum her room when they leaving or hand her her food. Just like Jessica she’s spoiled and didn’t like yo do anything for themselves. As jessicas stated her mom never made her clean her room. Ok.... When you changed clothes or dropped something she may have ran behind you but all she did was set you up to be reliant on someone else to help you in your home. Especially with no kids. I pray people learned to make their kids know that they have to clean up. No one is gonna be your slave.
JulsJusSayin- she actually did traveled with Jessica and she only told nick to hand her her food one time because he was the one that was near the food
If CaCee is Jessica's personal assistant, why is Jessica dealing with all the menial tasks like the hiring of a new housekeeper? Shouldn't CaCee be handling that job?
Think she's her PA from her label. So think she more has to help her with stuff related to her music and career. They met when Jessica signed with Columbia in 1997.

Cacee was a sorry assistant n friend in my opinion. She wanted to act like Jess n how she acted towards Nick he should have kicked her ass out. I sure wouldn't have trusted her alone with my man she seems shady.
Here's an idea--how about Cacee clean the house? I couldnt imagine living off someone and not lifting a finger. Cacee was supposed to be Jessica's assistant too which means she shouldve found a damn maid and been making the phone calls.

Interesting that Cacee decided to move to LA, couldn’t possibly find an apartment, and just HAD to live with Jess and Nick while cameras rolled 24/7. What a coinkidink that she couldn’t find her own place until the season was over and she too was on every episode (and every single putting) after the first incredibly successful season.
walker7857 I think she is painfully unaware of how bad and ridiculous she looks when she sings. I’m convinced she’s never been told. She thinks going out dressed cute and screaming her lungs out makes her a great performer but apparently she never watches the playbacks. Her faces are very unbecoming. Nick was getting a bit overwhelmed by her screaming and was trying to figure out s way to stay with the performance and harmonize with her. I’m sure he didn’t have the heart to hurt her feelings by telling her to watch her performances and be more conscious of her expressions but his face said he was thinking that she looked very ridiculous OVER PERFORMING the song and showing off. Poor Jessica. Not a good look.
Honestly she probably used cacee as a buffer to be with Nick... You can't have people around like that especially if your married newly we'd at that.. It's supposed to be you two with no ones interference
People forget that Nick helped her get her start back when he was in 98 degrees and she was unknown...its bs to say he was jealous when all he did was support her the whole time...the show..her age and fame led to their demise

Nick seems really happy with his life now. I feel that Nick was never really a flashy person. I felt like Jessica was more flashy. More in the Hollywood scene. Nick lives a more private life with his family. Whatever makes them both happy is fine with them. They are both very successful. In their business and now in their family life.
Jessica Vega Joe simpson screwed Nick over in the divorce and he ended up settling for a lot less than what he was entitled to. Anything made during their marriage was equally his as much as hers. Shes not a billionaire lol her company has made a billion but thats not all in her pocket. I like her fashion line but Nick was the more humble regular guy in the relationship.

I get what you are saying, but when they are traveling that much for work (more Jess at this point), I’m sure it’s hard as heck to keep things clean the way you want etc...like I wouldn’t want to be traveling for work all the time and then have to come home to a house that I haven’t really been in and clean it and then go travel again for more work....right???
Jessica Lynn true. I definitely wouldn’t be up to cleaning either, especially a house that large, but I’m stunned that she felt it was ok to throw piles and piles and piles and piles of clothes ALL OVER the place, even the entry way. I would be mortified for my husband not only to see I was so lazy but to subject him to living in a house that was so badly unkempt that he couldn’t even see the floor or be able to walk on huge sections of it. It was inexcusable how she treated her clothes her husband and their SHARED home. It also revealed just how lazy and entitled she felt to unpack tons of clothing and just throw them on the floor and leave them there. At the very least she should have divided up the washable from the dry clean items then bag them for handling later. She kept letting it all pile up and it was so inconsiderate of her. Her mother gave her NO life skills whatsoever. They spoiled her but also crippled her and she repaid them by taking them on a financial decadent ride of a lifetime.

Tommy Matola saw a 16-17 pretty blonde girl that had some singing talent. I bet he saw the marketing potential. To be fair to Jessica, I do think she can sing. She just sings in a way that's off-putting to some. That breathy-baby-voice stuff isn't for me and the shouting isn't for me. But she definitely has more chops than Britney.
I remember when she first came out, they were trying to make her dance, too.....if you think her singing is terrible, you should see her dancing.....wow.....you could definitly tell she was 110% a virgin....
I think a big problem is that he didnt respect her much. He always seems to be rolling his eyes or laughing at her. She does seem out of it a lot, but that doesn’t justify the constant low level lack of respect. No one wants to be with someone who doesn’t respect them and no one really wants to be with someone they don’t respect.
Ceru_lean yes!! Jessica literally seemed in another world all the time. There were some very serious debilitating focusing issues going on. I’m pretty sure she’s had undiagnosed add most of her life. It’s obvious she’s not present. She’s always so distracted and not present with those around her.

amyyyamy yes! She seemed more than comfortable to lounge around in luxury and do nothing to contribute. She just sat around like Jessica did and seemed to forget she was hired to do a job. Let’s face it, Jessica has grown EXTREMELY uncomfortable in that relationship and I’m sure she probably actually felt bad having caycee do anything for her and likely stopped her from being a servant. She knew she was a really a hired buffer to help gain some distance from nick.

She gets overly confident and has a bad habit of overselling the grand finale to the point of looking like an absolute fool. She needs to tone it down. Nick and she were ice cold behind the scenes and the way they exaggerated their romance and their connection onstage was a bit embarrassing.

Nick is right for the first time about the maid. She has to fold all the clothes. Most people clean their shit up before so the maid can do deep cleaning. They aren’t supposed to pick up organize and clean. It’s cleaning or organizing. Gotta pick a battle. I always had to hang my things up myself and put everything in a hamper for our house keeper and make it easy on her. You clean up so they can clean if that makes sense. Unless you have a team one woman can’t do that whole house if you don’t pick your clothes up and have PILES of them.
Right, pick up and put away and keep things organized was our responsibility, and the maid deep cleaned. It was just common courtesy towards her to get things out of the way.

What kills me is that you never seem them practicing before a concert. They just casually come out onto the stage and belt out a song (she's got such a powerful voice, she completely overshadows Nick.)

Well they lied about the black card. One good friend in college had one at 18 and a few other kids I went to college with. No one really used the valet unless traveling.
