Jessica has money she doesn't have to cook. Also, they had to give her a storyline and they made her come off as a complete airhead. Now in 2019 she's the CEO of a million plus dollar company! Where's Nick?
She should have bought that car for Nick😒and gone with him for a romantic day, left the chef to cook the dinner and the assistant to decorate and oversee everything. Yes I put alot of thought into this😂

Just a few months before on Christmas,he bought her a diamond bracelet,and got a massive built in wardrobe put in one of the rooms for her. Ive seen other episodes where he has surprised her with a romantic meal and presents. He does return the favour.
I know. And in her book she makes it sound like the show set up all those moments. I think for one or two occassions they did for their anniversary episodes but Nick did a lot for her.
She’s 100% the money maker. But then they ridicule her for not being a perfect housewife. As if people would mock a millionaire man bc he can’t clean. 🙄😉
Thriftiness. For instance, I could afford a bigger home, but why? My children are grown and the house is paid for, so there is absolutely no reason to 'upgrade' to a bigger house. Nope.
That’s what I was wondering with Drew being Nick’s brother, although Nick was the lead singer. But, I do know that Cali homes are very pricey, and they can be decades old (mid century modern, etc) and still hold pretty good value.
Idk if you're from CA but Drew's house is EXPENSIVE! Not to mention the lot looks big for CA. I would imagine today it's easily 1.5 million (maybe fore if it's in the Hollywood area)
I love how Jess hired the chef to "show" her how to cook, but he is quite obviously doing all the work while she stands there asking dumb questions. Also, how did she not know what oregano is? She's cute and all, but her parents did her a great disservice by not giving her a proper education.

drew and his wife are very close so i doubt she will be close to Jessica. can u see drew and his wife hanging out with Jess and her new husband?. i doubt it. Loyalty kids. im sure they are civil if they were to run into each other. but thats it. i suspect.
Poor Jessica is not her fault her mom never thought her how to cook or clean, and Nick just did not understand that because he started cleaning at a early age. You can tell Jessica made a Big effort to try, And everyone was in their business. Poor couple so young and so inlove but I guess this tv show destroyed their marriage 😞
They set the show up a lot. Cut out a lot of private things. She did buy him presents to open under the tree..... They had two Christmas days. One for privacy.
It’s annoying that all Nick did was complain about the car the whole outing, and he didn’t even say thank you to Jessica when she told him she rented it for him for the day. He’s ungrateful. And how come You hardly ever see Drew and Leah together? They don’t spend a lot of time together at all, but obviously Drew is still married to her because he’s super sweet and caring.

People you have to understand she was always on the road and focusing on her career since she was very popular at the time and didn’t have the time to learn simple day to day things. This was the first time she was not on the road and had to lean to do everyday shit from scratch. Poor girl!!! I wanted them together forever. He ruined her life by leaving her. Teens from that time was different from the once’s from this time. I love Jessica Simpson
She should've just started with basics though, like spaghetti Bolognese :) but nope she hire's a chef to help her cook and all she did was stir the pot ;)
MissHannah2036 back then they were not as good with editing and faking... good examples when Kyle tried to cook and was wearing white long sleeve tshirt and then the person cooking was wearing black... ooooppsss she was just real... and they showed all of her flows
lol i tot she hired teh cook to teach her to prepare a meal for nick ..but shes just watching teh cook do all the work lol i think it would have been more special if she tried herself. i think she could have tried to do more things by herself during their marriage for him
