Nick Cave & Warren Ellis - Pearly (Soundtrack From the Netflix Film Blonde) 

Hearing this and watching the movie makes me feel sympathy for Marylin. She had beauty, fame, admiration, and success. Material things people would to do anything and everything just to achieve one of those items. In truth, she just wanted love, peace, and happiness. The most important things we either take for granted or don't value.

I was at Nick Cave's live show a month ago, and this track was before the start of the concert. Incredible energy. ✨

I just learned that Nick Cave and Warren Ellis composed the score for Blonde, now my expectations are even higher.

Nick Cave has to be one of the most prolific rock legends of all time.

Rest in peace Marilyn Monroe, you were a beautiful soul in a crude world, no matter how the world treated and still treats you, I hope you found peace wherever you are.

The movie is very true to the book, I had to pause it a few times, its like a gut punch but the actress is so moving I couldn't help but cry. The soundtrack, INCREDIBLE!!!!!

This music reminds me of mortality in the known universe. It reminds me that everyone dies, but, life goes on... It is LIFE in the universe.

This song made me feel so many emotions sadness, depression, emptiness chills and it made me feel so bad for marliyn cause I’ve always been a huge fan of her and seeing everything she went through broke my heart into a million pieces she deserved someone who actually loved her, but then again no one deserved her she was special and one of a kind ❤

One of the best movies in the last decade, hands down. The only movie that comes to mind that moved me like this was Call Me By Your Name. The score is dazzlingly gorgeous. I hope Blonde sweeps the Oscars.

Phenomenal and breathtaking. I have to edit this after seeing Blonde. Ana de Amras is certainly the star, but oh my God... the score. It's the best supporting actor. Truly, it wouldn't be the same film without it.

The music is like Norma Jeane Mortenson's, aka Marilyn Monroe's live. From the outside glamorous and sparkling but on the inside deep, dark, sad and lonely.

I loved this even before I saw the movie, it was haunting and bone chilling, now that I have seen it… it is one of the most tragic compositions in film for me now. Damn this movie was brilliant. The fact that others will feel the complete opposite of me is honestly making me love it more

This is a very unique sound, never heard anything like it, I hope within this score there are some nods to the old melodies from Marilyn's life.

Beautiful soundtrack. Efficient in involving us in the emotional pain that Norma felt throughout her life being, without a father, without a mother, being seen only as an object. Life is cruel.

The main through-line sounds quite like the intro to U2’s “Where the Streets Have No Name”. I was expecting to hear Larry counting-out the intro on his sticks in the background, with The Edge’s shimmering guitar chiming-in any second.

There's just something about this song that makes this film feel so fitting to it. Almost makes it feel like a mystery feeling. I just can't explain it but somehow for some reason I love the way it feels.

What a gut punch that ending was. While some people are saying this movie exploited Marilyn Monroe are completely misunderstanding that this is EXACTLY what Marilyn Monroe’s experience in Hollywood was like. Yes, there were happy moments in her life, but it’s her struggle to always seek the positive whilst combating her battle to have some sense of a parental figure, her mood disorders, her miscarriages, and abusive relationships. This is what pushed her over the edge. Marilyn Monroe was the sex symbol that men obsessed over and treated like a piece of meat, while Norma Jean was fighting to have some sense of peace, belonging, and happiness in her life. The ending coupled with the music really captured the tragedy of her sudden demise.

Honestly, I'd compose my heart rhythm to a point of sudden ampithany.. How? And why? The mystery still challenges me.. Up until now I've barely watched clips, the ending was shown here on RU-vid. The perfect sound to describe beauty

I have so many thoughts about this movie, but one thing it did make me feel was grief and acceptance. This movie may be an overwhelming mess, but it got the end right. For us, death may seem like the most tragic and devastating part of Marilyn’s life. But Blonde chose to explore her death as rest, as a return and real place, where she could be with her father and mother and be Norma Jeane again. She could be invisible and small and as soft as she was a child. I hated how much I loved it. Beautiful score.
