Chubb is what every NFL player should be. He's a hard-working, non-trash-talking, humble player. He doesn't waste time talking; he just shows it on the field. I love this guy
@@rrkunath mean joe Green never talked his shit? What about LT? Or Shannon Sharpe. Richard Sherman. Proof you’re a coach potato coach and never padded up a day in your life if you say talking smack ain’t apart of the game.
@@thexannyphantom5532 I didn't mean it doesn't happen. Of course it does. It's not a requirement of the game, and it just shows the immaturity of the player and the people that supported that behavior. All those players you mentioned were great athletes and would've been great without the trash-talk. Chubb is also and excellent athlete who just shows the opposition what he can do on the field. He doesn't need to resort to such immature behavior. Only dumb jocks act this way. I've played with many of them. The more they behave this way, the less respect I have for them.
This Guy is so humble and so quiet! He doesn’t forget his roots!! He still comes home to work out with his high school coaches and gives his all right back to the community and hometown where he was raised every chance he gets
Chubb is ranked top 2 rb in the league yet doesn't get the heavy workload like the other RB1's. I'm happy that Hunt and Chubb split carriers, it will prolong their careers.
That doesn't have anything to do with his totals. The man puts up top 3 rb stats WITH only 3/5 the reps he's a super efficient runner JIM BROWN would love this guy's style
Been watching football along time. He is one of the best I’ve seen. His abilities to make people bounce off is incredible. Would bet he’s leading in broken tackles per run.
I think he could be the third best running back the second got to be my man Greg Pruitt it's no doubt about it! But it's all good in the neighborhood!!
If the Browns keep him beyond this extension, he has the opportunity to be the Greatest Browns RB ever. I’m not as sentimental because I didn’t see Jim Brown play and Greg Pruitt won’t have the stats to match with Chubb
I saw Jim Brown in person as a kid going to Brown's games at old Cleveland Stadium. Nick Chubb reminds me of Jim Brown like no other Brown's back since. What a player.
Chubb is the complete package. Along with great vision and patience, he has ankle breaking quickness and the strength to plow guys over or even carry them on his back.
Chubby is tha perfect complete back can get tha tough yards, hit tha home runs, pass protect, catch tha ball out tha backfield. he’s been doing it since Georgia.
Absolutely not Chubb already has 5,000 yards in a way harder defensive league than Jim had. Jim had 3500 carries for 12k. Chubb hasn't even touched the ball 1000 times. Do the math. He'll shatter Jim Brown barring injury
@@therealmadtitan8555 you are hilarious, some athletes transcend NUMBERS only someone who is probably only use to today's game would make a blasphemous statement like you Jim Brown is an immortal in the games history. Some mention him as the greatest to EVER play the game. I love Chubb to death and you could never be a bigger fan than me. I have watched every season since 1967, ever heard of Leroy Kelly or Ernie Green ? I doubt it probably too young to know that numbers can be interpreted any way you want them to be. How about leading the league in rushing 8 out of 9 years 🤔 Sit down with your analytics and recognize the goat 🐐 of all running backs forever! (Mr. Jim Brown)😁
@@kmitch975 you liked your own comment first of all. Second of all go look at all the defenses back then. Derrick Henry, Jonathan Taylor, and Nick Chubb would run for 500 a game bud. Period. Strengthening and conditioning is thru the roof. Back then it was a bunch of overweight sloppy grotesque dudes that couldn't run down a slug. Compared to DL these days that can hawk down the best of them. Quit using past bias bud. When Nick Chubb gets another 1400 this year on only 250 touches your whole comment will look worse and worse. Cold takes exposed
Nick Chubb aka the "Night Train" ! He's the best RB I have ever seen. He'll rush for 2k. Not a problem! Wait till defenses get a load of Watson, Chubb, and Hunt in the same back field. It's going to be fun to watch! Go / 24 Go/Browns
@@LTi5683u He WOULD rush for 2k but that's not the plan Stefanski has for some reason. Time will tell if it was correct or not. I totally agree with you best RB I've ever seen in the Browns uni. Hope we don't waste it.
One of the weirdest games ever. They reviewed the spot at the end after giving the Browns a first down. Inexplicably moved the ball back, Browns punt, Raiders score -- Overtime, you win. Classic Browns. :(
@@jas9239 He's underrated as far as getting the exposure she should. He's better than former UG RB Gurley, Rodney Hampton, D’Andre Swift and Sony Michel.
@@jas9239 Okay misused how? I compare how a player has impacted a team from college to pros. If you are saying he was misused at UG I agree but at Cleveland he has produced more as a RB and receiver and it could be the QB inability to throw accurately down field. Screens and dump offs are his thing. They use him just fine for the type of back he is ... if he had the same stats he had in college yes but the Brown used him even more in the passing game than UG did.
@@alphasports3743 he is a true three down kind of back. Then they went and got Kareem hunt and there are games he gets the ball not even 15 times..take last year for instance, he had only five or six games of 20+ carries. Even when Kareem went out last year, they decided d’ernest should fill in instead of leaning more heavily on chubb. That’s what I mean by misused. In my opinion, he isn’t getting the ball as much as he should be.
I never got to see Jim brown play live because of how young I am but nick chubb is the best browns running back I have ever saw live. No doubt best running back for us in the last 40 years
No one expected him to come back from knee injury but he came back with a vengeance and playing his azz off like he did in Georgia got with the browns and a great offensive line
He is going into the hall of Fame for sure he got flashes of AP and Beastmode not flashy simple guy who is perfecting his craft my favorite player right now not a big browns fan cuz I did like them with they had Kellen Winslow Jr and William Green 🤷🏾♂️💪🏾💯
Chubb got that sneaky gear he shifts into that lets you know 40 times speed don’t mean a thing similar to Lydell Mitchell of the colts who ran a 5.3 and Roger Craig who was a 4.6-4.7 and Marshall Faulk
@@janconner2087 For what? To win games. No need to throw the ball 35 times a game when you have Chubb, Hunt and maybe the most underrated back in the league, D'ernest Johnson
@@SocialAssasin a team wins games with a balanced attack on offense and a bend but don’t break defense. If a team relies too much on the run, it makes the offense one dimensional. No matter who’s in the backfield.
@@janconner2087I'm fine with balance. Throwing it 35-38 times and running it 18-20 is not balanced. Especially in games like the christmas day game against the packers. When your averaging 7+ yards per carry you run it right at them til they stop it
@@SocialAssasin you clearly read my initial statement wrong. I stated that both Chubb and Hunt are effective with 15-20 touches per game. A QB that can make the throws is the bonus. And let’s be honest, name one QB in Browns history that had to even pass over 30 times in a game, when not playing from behind?
I loved this kid in college and I couldn't believe we ended up getting him. The year he came out I told everyone that someone is gonna get the steal of that draft and it ended up being us. I just hope we don't waste his best years. He deserves to compete with the best of the best
How many backs in NFL history have been this fast, this strong, with this patience, amazing footwork, legendary contact balance, legendary leaping ability, great vision, great composure, and also stamina and build to withstand a workhorse load of pounding? Legit idk. I do think of Ricky but only for one year in maimi when he trimmed down. I actually think I remember him hurdling someone, and to be fair a lot of players who possibly could do that didn’t try to do it as often back then. But he’s one of the only backs I can think of who had breakaway speed( he had like a 53, 47, 63 and 67 yard TD runs that season and also I think a 60 yard catch and probably a few others close to 30-40) but who also SO strong and physical and agile. He also had great instincts and showed some patience as well, as his faoviete play was always the counter run. Maybe LT as well? Idk. LT definitely had speed, but I don’t know if he had Chubb speed, but I mean I guess Ricky didn’t either just cuz he had a lot of long runs..but I bet if you tested Ricky’s 40 specifically during 2003 it would have been 4.4. I think LT ran a 4.4. We all know he had amazing, AMAZInG vision…and athletic ability and patience and toughness and instincts, but I don’t see a ton of Chubb and LT similarities Anyone who else have anyone to poont out who was similar to Chubb? There is probably someone who was great but I’m forgetting. The 2000s had so many elite runners, but ya I really don’t think we’ve seen many runners so strong and compact and tough who also could possibly hit the fastest MPH of a season. I mean it’s insane. Dude is like ..jusr such an athlete.
As a browns fan we haven't had a real superstar player since we came back. Now we have many which is so unreal even now. Nick Chubb is my favorite. He is an extraordinary runner. He's movement efficient, dynamic, powerful and somehow quick and fast regardless of size. The first time he touched the ball and took it to the house in that raiders game and then took ANOTHER one to the house in the same game on only 3 carries.... we knew we had something extraordinary on our hands. We got rid of Hyde and Johnson in short order and somehow he almost had 1000 yards that season behind an o-line that was absolutely 🗑. He made them look good. Not the other way around. It was clear that this guy was just different.
Chubb is the best RB in the NFL. He's patient, fast, physical, always makes the first man miss, and always falls forward. All he does is work out and let his play on the field do all the trash talking. I'm glad we have him on the Browns.
As much as I love him.... let's not succumb to recency bias and remember that this team had the possibly the best football player to walk the planet minus Tom Brady in Jim Brown. As amazing as nick is let's not forget the browns best player of all time.
Still love when NFL Films mic'd him up and Chubb's teammates were like, "What a waste!!! Let me guess, you got 3 hours worth of grunting and basically non-verbal football sounds." NFL Films: Pretty much...LOL
As a Browns fan I was so pumped we drafted him. I liked him at Georgia. I did have a little bit of mixed emotions though. Being a Browns fan, I really wanted him, but at the same time, I like him. So being a Browns fan, I didn't want him to have to go to us.
Keep it family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love , Stop hurting Cleveland! Indians , Guardians , Browns and my inter dimensions.
