@@NDVirgilio Hey Nick! I saw your gear rundown video for the Mr. Big tour! Saw that you’re using the Pearl Eliminator pedals, what type of bearings did you upgrade with?? Thanks!
Great show at the Fitzgerald in St Paul on Wednesday. That was really cool of you to give that guy’s young daughter a drum stick at the end of the show . I was right next to them in the front row. 😊
So cool of you to share video in the midst of two (2) too BIG tours! Glad you saved everything. So damn psyched for BBT! Safe, successful, and enjoyable journeys❣
Hey Nick, so sorry to hear about your basement. Love the fact that you can do these on your days off and I really enjoyed the view on this one. Love seeing the old Big Big Train snare drums from years gone by. Looking forward to see you on Saturday night, sir.
I know! I can't keep up. But really what she does a lot of the time is grow a new plant from an existing one and also buys little seedlings and grows from there. I can't grow a snare...Ha! Cheers!
I know. If I had not gone home who knows how bad it could have been. My wife does not go down there very often because she really has no need. Thankfully I was hope to catch it when I did. Cheers!
It is that rubbery kitchen stuff you put on your counter tops after you clean your dishes, cut up into little squares. I put it under the snare wires to keep them from buzzing when not being used. You could use cut up towels or a bunch of other things to do the same. Thank you for watching!
Howdy from Billings Montana...Great Vid...Nick you need one of those Wrap Around Squiggly Style Phone Holders...Ohhhh and was THAT a Glass of Wine???...C'mon Nick POUR US A GLASS OF WINE!!!!!!! LoloL
She really does. They are everywhere in our house. If she wasn't so good at keeping them alive and healthy I would have a much different attitude towards them all :)
Dude, I'm not in the market for a snare rack, but I like your videos so kuch so j watched anyway. Always great to see your gear. Mister Nick, are the little black pads between the snare wires and the head there just to keep sympathetic buzzing from happening?
I had one! Admittedly it was one I installed myself. It was not strong enough and go overwhelmed when the main one crapped out. I now have a super duper high end sump pump with a back up properly installed by a real plumber....not me :)
Very interesting piece of gear. The one question i would like to put is this. from what i can establish being blind, you have all your snare drums with no cases in that rack. If i decide to get 1 for my self in the future, would i be able to put all my snare drums which are in cases or bags in to this rack? thanks in advance, keep on rockin'
Great video as always Nick. Curious what the black "tape" you had on all of the bottom of your snares are for? Is it the rubber pads you put in drawers to keep the snares from buzzing while recording? Thanks in advance and see you in SF with Mr Big!!!
I'm not married anymore so I keep my snare drum rack in my living room as "decor" and my drums and recording gear are set up on the other end of my master bedroom. Oh also...I live in Florida so no basement to flood!
Hey Nick...Im not sure but it looked like the Rubber Feet had a hole in each one so you could leave the feet on and still screw the casters on thru the holes...I could be wrong but kinda looked that way!!!
