“The Seven” are the people in the rockets from the first chapter... when the zero point was compromised they showed up, gave us the black hole and destroyed the map. Can’t wait to see how this season ends

I think that they saw that the Authority, which we now know was the Agency, succeeded in stopping the Visitor's plan, and so they broke that reality to restart and try again on the new reality/map. I think that they are trying something similar here and that they will do something similar with this season as well if they fail once more, hence S3 should be with a new map.
