For recent quarters, 2019+, they released some with a W stamp that are worth something. The W is West Point mint, they mainly do uncirculated collectors set coins.

I got into checking dollar bills recently. The easiest is looking for repeating serial numbers, stuff like A11111111A or A1000000A are worth money to collectors. There's also some ink errors, a common one is 2017 $1 bills where one side has black ink instead of green.

The coin nick got is probably not worth that much unfortunately. (sorry nick looks like ur staying in jk lol)The thing they found on ebay is probably an error version of that same coin design. i got a few copies of wilma mankiller. Error coins can go for thousands especially when graded
