Whilst out in France many years ago, with only a handful of franks to their name and no diesel left in the van, Nick and his friend somehow managed to blag a drunk Frenchman into filling their fuel tank up so they could come home.

Great stories from the man Nick. People here criticising him for that Thames 50lb carp. The area he caught it from got ruined the Following season probably put so much stress on the fish. it is a shame carp anglers are sheep or 90% of them are I have a lot of footage Thames tidal and non tidal was going to put it on RU-vid but what is the point it would just get ruined the areas I had massive hits from and it would get slagged off by green eyed monsters who haven't got the brain to do it themselves and just have to follow like sheep.

his best blag was saying his thames carp was over the magic 50lb mark.....it was caught 4 times over 2 years between 47 and 48 lb ..the last time 5 weeks before nick caught it ....all the local anglers know it wasnt 50lb ...even the nash photograpther didnt see it wieghed ...in nicks video he doesnt show the wiehing of it ???? all anglers would film that as such an historic fish . clearly a sponsored angler lieing to get publicity ...absolute joker

@@neilhall86 Lol congrats on being the first sheep to say jealous lol aren't u allowed to criticise a sponsored angler lol for the record I'm old school korda no me.. Give me Dave Lane or Ritchie Mcdonald anyday... I actually think nick OK his latest canal video is spot on.. But the Thames one was a lot bshit..he got away with it fair enough but If u know u know the details.. And to make it worse killed the stretch that next season over 20 boats fishing it.. The fish died could been stress.. Don't be scared to call people out and enjoy u fishing
