Well, since they are shoving her down our throats, I fail to see how that qualifies as an overreaction. Maybe you missed it, but for the last 6 months or so, the media has been flooding every possible space with her, and since these two "got together", the Kelce brand is similarly everywhere. Seems very odd, and explicitly planned. She doesn't play and has no association with the team other than her 'relationship' with Kelce. No rational reason that the NFL should be acting like paparazzi for her.

Maybe you should look at the fact she generated hundreds of millions in revenue for the chiefs/league according to reports and that’s why they’ve done it. Because they care about making money and growing the brand and it does both. Like the nfl has employed murders and rapists but you have a problem because Taylor swift is on your tv for 25 seconds on average a broadcast. Shorter than a drug commercial about some new hemorrhoid cream. I know it’s hard to believe that the nfl might have also come to the realization (you might be lacking it still) that women also like sports and can spend money too 😱. And Taylor provides an easy way to reach a female audience and make more money. And considering the playoffs have been the most viewed ever by average viewership per game since they started tracking it, so they’re vindicated in the decision.

NFL is in the business of providing entertainment. I am tuning in for the first time in 67 years to watch the KC Chiefs because I think this romance is adorable. I love the Kelce family. In my family alone they have added 10 new viewers. I have started to learn and enjoy the football games now because of Taylor Swift. My family is having a blast watching the games together. Consider the time they show Taylor as a commercial. Good time to refill your drink. Let the rest of us who tune in for her enjoy our 30 second spot.

Personally, I love this story because I really like both Taylor and Travis a lot. However, you might not be paying close enough attention because the hate that is being directed toward Travis Kelce is enormous. Why? Well, it’s because Travis does commercials encouraging people to get the COVID shot. Personally I’m glad. I’m fully vaccinated and boosted just like Donald Trump is fully vaccinated and boosted. In fact, it was Trump who authorized the making of the COVID vaccine. If not for Trump, there would be no COVID vaccine. That’s one of the few things I agree with Trump about.

Definitely not her fault, as they love cutting to the Kelce/Mahomes media box. It's less about Taylor Swift as it is about fanbases from two completely different worlds colliding and synergizing, and the media is not being subtle about milking it. As they SHOULD. That drew the highest ratings for a AFC Title game ever. So, sure, "a lot of people" vent about it online. But it sure isn't triggering enough people to actually not get them to turn off the TV. If anything, more people are turning it on . . .

Personally, I'd much rather look at Taylor Swift a handful of times during a Chiefs game than the hundreds of times I've had to see Spike Lee at Knicks games when I used to watch the NBA. So many of these Teams have had their run and now it's the Chiefs and the Chiefs Kingdoms turn to enjoy this while we can . Many dark day's in our own AFCW watching Denver, what used to be San Diego, and LA/OAK/ LAV dominate our DIV. Now it's finally our turn . No town, Team, and The Hunt Family deserve this more . I was surprised that Jason took his shirt off and everyone thought it was great. They loved it. I thought it was funny but then thought if a wife, girlfriend or Taylor would have done that even without taking the shirt off, people would have had a meltdown. Why aren't the media talking about all the MALE celebrities that go to football games? 1) Before Swift, Paul Rudd was arguably considered the biggest celebrity rooting for the Chiefs. He even offered a “kegger [party] at mom’s” after the Chiefs won the Super Bowl earlier this year. 2) The Buffalo Bills also have a big screen superfan in Chad Michael Murray. The actor and Buffalo native previously said he and his family always cheered for the Bills, adding that “we live and die by the Bills.” 3) George Clooney revealed he is a Cincinnati Bengals fan in 2013, a few years after actor Rob Lowe showed his support for the Indianapolis Colts. The Jacksonville Jaguars have Bill Murray in their corner while Mario Lopez roots for the Los Angeles Chargers (and Justin Herbert).

I don't care about Taylor being at the games or being shown for a few seconds on the broadcast. She's supporting her partner, and it brings more people into watching the NFL. It isn't her fault she gets the attention she does and she shouldn't be criticized for it. She's a big star, of course the NFL is going to capitalize on that. There's no conspiracy there. I have to see her everytime I'm on social media or watch the news, and now she's dominating football discussion. Again, it's not her fault, but I wish I didn't have to have Taylor Swift shoved down my throat everyday. I share a tiny bit of that hate, so let me explain. It feels like we are being "forced to celebrate" Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, which I have no interest in their privacy. I don't think it is fair to feel like that, so I just shut up, but some people does not.
