Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, & Andra Day performing "Rise Up" in tribute to Orlando during the Future Now Tour at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida on 7-2-16
Amanda Berthiaume that's what I thought I watched this because I knew how amazing it would be with these people all joined together more than 10,000 people supporting each other but really it's a lot more than that I live in the uk so I couldn't be there obviously but I was supporting them from home this is my second time watching this I just wish there was no hate comments
Taylor Nichole same!!!! there wasn't a dry eye in my section😭😭 right when the guy who said the prayer said to hug our neighbors I broke down and couldn't stop crying till the concert was over
I had chills all over. Their voices together are SO powerful. I was so into the performance I actually clapped at the end without realizing I was in my room just watching this on my phone. This is so amazing.
I wish I could personally thank them for this. It's a small thing to do, but it still means so much. I'm crying. This was so beautiful and every bit of support for my community means so much to me. RIP to the victims that perished and I wish only the best for the victims that survived and the families and friends of all the victims.
Y'all I'm just now seeing this. It's May 1, 2020 and the world is going through the coronavirus pandemics. This performance hit me hard because we will rise up through this. I know that we will. We will rise up.
Such a beautiful prayer and tribute song for the victims of this tragedy! Wishing love peace and healing to all of the families of those who lost their lives that day!
This year, demi's concert wasn't really focused on like VISUALS, it was more about vocals, and demi has strong faith in God, therefore she has songs about God. Honestly, i love that her concert was focused on the music, it was a pleasure to be there/meet her.
I love Demi so so much and her parts were great but they could've just let Andra Day perform by herself. The woman took my edges, life and soul. Demi and Nick should've just been backup singers or something cause Lord Jesus....😩😩
Just amazing that when black ppl sing they say screaming or yelling but one they you should know black ppl have soul in their voices that's why it comes out rich & whole
Whose "They?" I don't hear anyone saying black people are screaming or yelling, and the rest is a bit of a generalization. So your saying that every black person has soul in their voice? Nah, I know people who sing like crap. Just another human with all our imperfections.
@Rodneisha Ayers So right; as haters of Christina Grimmie(who was murdered after her concert; the night before Pulse), would also complain about Grimmie screaming as she hit those beautiful clean high notes. When she was on season 6 of The Voice, Usher called her Baby Celine Dion. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ghG-SrPBK3w.html In the videos where you can see the names on the screen scrolling behind the singers, Christina appears at the very end as also remembered.
I was in the crowd that night and I lost it when the names were rising on the screen. It's been months and I still think back to the shooting and completely lose it all over again. I tattooed a "49" on the arm to commemorate those souls who were taken too soon.
Just discovering how incredible Andra Day is. She is. There are pop singers and we forget that there are real singers who can touch your soul so much you cry to hear that
Marshall Jones I wasnt thinking of him that way, and besides i love the Lord and pray faithfully everyday. When Adam ate the forbidden fruit with Eve he came to realize that they were naked.
For anyone who has lost a family member, loved one, or friend know that they are in a good place and they will always watch over you and they will always stay in your heart
"Rise Up" You're broken down and tired Of living life on a merry-go-round And you can't find the fighter But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out And move mountains We gonna walk it out And move mountains And I'll rise up I'll rise like the day I'll rise up I'll rise unafraid I'll rise up And I'll do it a thousand times again And I'll rise up High like the waves I'll rise up In spite of the ache I'll rise up And I'll do it a thousand times again For you oh oh oh oh oh [4x] When the silence isn't quiet And it feels like it's getting hard to breathe And I know you feel like dying But I promise we'll take the world to its feet And move mountains Bring it to its feet And move mountains And I'll rise up I'll rise like the day I'll rise up I'll rise unafraid I'll rise up And I'll do it a thousand times again For you oh oh oh oh oh [4x] All we need, all we need is hope And for that we have each other And for that we have each other And we will rise We will rise We'll rise, oh oh We'll rise I'll rise up Rise like the day I'll rise up In spite of the ache I will rise a thousand times again And we'll rise up High like the waves We'll rise up In spite of the ache We'll rise up And we'll do it a thousand times again For you oh oh oh oh oh [4x]
It’s may 17 2021 and this is my first time seeing this performance. Very emotional for me because we’re still in the middle of a pandemic. We will rise up soon!!
