@@bedouinoutpost No, my issue is with the phrase and the culture it fosters. Have you ever heard of the phrase "Girls will be girls"? Of course not, because there is no such phrase. And if you know anything about where this phrase stems from you'll know that what it actually means to say is *(white straight) boys will be (white straight) boys* , particularly affluent ones. I despise how society has used this ideology to justify or lessen the shortcomings of young adults just because they're men. I despise how they would get carte blanche to do just about anything, and get away with it with few to no repercussions. No, the problem's with the phrase, and with the people who use it to defend actions that run the gamut from naughty to contemptible all the way to down-right criminal.
