@@sportslover2356 video shows the highlights. He wasn't playing well overall in the match. 24UF and 60% first serve. Everyone beat him in 2017. This video is just disingenuous.
@@sportslover2356 you can watch videos of Nadal in 2015 and it looks like “he’s playing brilliantly” due to the eye test on highlight videos. The results, tell a different story.
Oh, really? People like you (Djokovic fans) cry "Excuses!" when context is used for some of Djokovic's wins or titles. But when it comes to your idol, then it's okay to share context. Hypocrites.
@@MistahhMingus ok but if you say prime federer was 2019 and lost to djokovic federer fans would complain. not getting the prime time of each player right is pretty big mistake.
Kyrgios possessed the greatest raw talent of any player including the big 3 IMO. Unfortunately, he doesn't have any of the other hallmarks needed for the success they accomplished. The passion, tenacity, and willpower. If he'd have worked as hard as them, he really could have been unstoppable. Oh well, at least we got to see a sliver of brilliance from him.
What is this absolute Clickbait lmao?? You mean the year Djokovic was dealing with elbow problems and only played 40 matches? This was by far the worst year of his career due to injuries.
It is such a shame that Kyrgios was not really interested in playing tennis ever. He is probably the most naturally gifted player to ever walk the earth.
Kyrgios had the potential to be #1 but he doesn't want the pressure to get there and stay there and most likely doesn't want the crazy discipline and schedule.
@@mazdaluce.9501dont try to argue with them. Fedal fans dont have the neuron capacity to put together coherent sentences so they throw any word they can remember and hope for the best
2017 Djokovic was in the ”love and peace” mood, a dark hole he managed to get out from in the second part of 2018. Nevertheless, it was impressive from Kyrgios.
Clickbait. Djokovic was not prime in 2017. He was struggling with his elbow and eventually had to get surgery. Kyrgios can’t beat an in form Djokovic, as evidence by Wimbledon 2022.
lol, so much cope. Kyrgios is a once in a generation talent (not a third in a generation) who never realised his enormous potential, but he had Djokovic’s number almost every time they played. Even the first set of that final at Wimbie, when focussed and relaxed Kyrgios was unplayable and made even Nole look very average: even the greats couldn’t cope with his power, speed and court IQ. Unfortunately for Nick genius often comes with a touch of madness, and that, not anybody else contemporaneous to him on the tour, is what held him back. Your guy got more Grand Slams than anybody else. Be happy with that. Kyrgios is a freak of nature, just genetically the most perfect tennis player, probably ever!
What are you smoking, how is this prime Djokovic? He was so off this year with elbow problems, family issues and motivation problems...this was a transition period for novak that Kyrgios capitalized on
Tennis players "Prime" only lasts around 6years but it doesn't mean they stop winning after it. Novak 2011 - 2016 (6yrs) Nadal 2008 - 2013 (6yrs) Federer 2004 - 2009 (6yrs) Murray 2012 - 2016 (5yrs)
For those who dont know: at this period of time, Djokovic was at his worst. You could call it ”antiprime”. Well done to Nick for winning these ones, but I think Nick was in his prime when he was in the Wimbledon final, and we know what happened there.
Alot of passing shots nick hit would have been clean lobs by federer.. nick goes for powerful body shots or risky passing shots while lobs can be effective.. havent seen one in whole video while novak was moving to net.. the thing is nick is capable of hitting those clean..
Lol at the line call at 7:27 and the crowd's laugh. So awesome to see Nick beat prime Djoker as he was vocal about not liking him as a person too...Djoker did get him at wimbledon though.
2011 and 2015 was actually his best years. People say 2023 also but it’s more of no real competition than actual in his prime. Kyrios is a great player tho and super fun to watch but super inconsistent. Kyrios tho when in form has beaten Federer Nadal and Novak but doesn’t mean they were in form
@@ricklee5845 Novak Djokovic will play at Roland Garros, while Nick Kyrgios has disappeared. I really don't know why. He is not even 30. He should still compete.
Come on guys don’t fall for bait! Could Kyrgios defeat the greatest at some match? Yes he could. Can he casually toy with them? You know he won’t. I do love the tennis of both Djoko and Kyrgios!
Anyway doesn't matter with this powerful serve if Djokovic was in a good or bad moment... you can't do anything with a guy that destroying the ball above of 200 km/h one and other and other again.
Novak is not the GOAT. He is statistically the best of this era. The eras are not comparable because the game has changed so much. Racquet head sizes, materials, stringing, surface changes (e.g., Wimbledon grass change in 2002), rules changes (e.g., the foot-fault rule; every jumping serve today would be a foot-fault under the old rule) all have made it impossible to compare players across the eras. See the discussion at Wimbledon when Federer won his 15th major, involving Borg, Sampras, Laver and Federer. They said exactly what I just said.
@@donaldallen1771 blah blah blah. New rules are instated very carefully so as not change the game completely and render all records invalid. To suggest that all records before a rule-change become immediately invalid is ridiculous. This is why we have titles and records to show a players performance over his/her career. Most players and fans regard grand slam wins as the most important metric (and they also yield the highest prize money and points). Djokovic has *24* of those. It doesn't have to be a popularity contest.
Djokovic may have not been at his best, but these matches were back-to-back master-classes from Kyrgios. Unplayable on serve and gave no rhythm on the baseline. That's a hard combination to beat.
Never thought I'd see a better server than Sampras but Kyrgios took the crown. He was great at everything in these 2 matches. Made Djokovic look like a club player.
@@natoskull2 Hypocrite Djokovic fan detected. Context is only allowed for their idol. If it's ever used for another player, then it's just a pathetic excuse.
@@bubufubu Ivanisevic is one of the all time servers. Still out of my comment. For all time serves not height adjusted, Isner and Karlovic are the best. Height adjusted, it's Sampras. He was 1.85. It's unheard of. Ivanisevic is in the Top 10 relative to height. But he was 1.93, Sampras is better relative to his 1.85
Who made this video either doesn't know Djokovic's history or hates Djokovic...2017 was Djokovic's worst year. After he won French open 2016 he experienced a motivational drop and some elbow injuries...he took 2 years to get back to his prime winning Wimbledon 2018. Respect for Kyrgios...but against prime Djokovic he has little chances (see Wimbledon 2022 final)
This comment section is a great insight into how delusional people get when it comes to tribal mentality. Instead of being objective and accepting that this is not in fact prime Djokovic - like everyone who follows tennis knows - they would rather willingly say things they don't even think are true just because... I guess they think it hurts the other fan base or whatever? I mean, the uploader himself knows what he's doing, and seeing as this is a Fedal channel first and foremost, he knows the audience will mostly eat it up even if they know it isn't true - just because ooga booga brain says they have to automatically attack and mock anything Djokovic related. Honestly hilarious.
Nobody is disputing that on his day Kyrgios could probably beat anyone who has ever played the game, any era, any surface. The same could be said of Gael Monfils. But he can't do it consistently. I'm not saying anything new, I know. In reality, Kyrgios has fundamental flaws in his game, and these catch up with him. His footwork and overall core strength and movement is mediocre at best, and his height has been inadequately coached. It winds up robbing him of the fluid utility shots that every player needs to gain control of everything in an opponent's game, not just win the low percentage points when the geometry of the point has widened. Federer, Agassi, even Courier - could win every point presented to them on the court. They could just brutalize you if they got away from you. Seven matches in a row. You had to beat them.
Funny how all the Novak snowflakes are annoyed. Like him, they claim injury when he lost. No credit to who beat him. Is he the best? Who cares? Just enjoy the game.
Surgery driven Djokovic which prevented him from playing many tournaments and losing early to nobodies is now considered prime. This is not your first video misrepresenting Djokovic during this injury period. I'm blocking your channel and dislike ofcourse.
So funny how Fedal fans have to cope with Djokovic being the GOAT by dreaming up ways to ridicule him at his lowest. BTW, these are the people who say the reason they prefer Fedal is because they are "so classy and gentlemanly" LMAO. Yeah, you're representing your idols so well by needing to bend the truth and use propaganda to make Novak look worse. And then they say Novak fans are "the most toxic fanbase" ahahaha. Literally the definition of delusional. Try being fair for once in your miserable lives.
Prime Djokovic? This was after Novak's elbow surgery when he was coming back, far from prime. This is Fedal channel and anti Djokovic, bogus channel, Djokovic is GOAT whatever bogus information you spread.
Come on man, you are a better youtuber than this... I know you are a Nadal fan but everyone knows that Novak was injured in 2017 and was trying to heal "naturally" until he ended up succumbing to elbow surgery. Thats disappointing coming from you.
