Nick Lee and the art of the sign | Oregon Art Beat 

For Nick Lee, owner and operator of Studio Signs Co., sign making is both an art form and a family business.
His father, Melvin, ran the company since 1985, with Nick joining much later, and the father-son duo has been responsible for many of Portland's most eye-catching signs, including those from McMenamin's.
In 2018, Nick bought the business from Melvin, and continues to build upon the legacy and history of this small, family-owned establishment.
