This sounds even more Floyd than Dave or Rog's solo concerts. Pre Dark Side era was the time we can see each member (Rick, Nick, Dave, Rog) contributing equally to the songs. I can never deny Nick's powerful rhythm in Atom Heart Mother. Without Nick, this song wouldn't be the same.
Fantastic, what a great version, playful, cheerful, really creative. Beautifully enhanced with a lot of new life rediscovered. Bravo Nick Mason's Saucers! Amazing puding!
Thank you so much. I love Atom Heart Mother despite other people preferences This version is awesome, with all the melancholy inside. It is strange that brass are not missing. I love the bell, drums, guitars keyboards...all
Thanks for keeping the music and spirit of early Pink Floyd alive, Nick, Guy, Gary, Lee and Dom! That album of yours is the best I´ve heard in quite a while. I literally grew up soaking up albums like Piper, Atom Heart Mother, SOS, Obscured By Clouds in the 70´s as my big brother had an awesome taste in music. So maybe I´m a bit biased, but I always thought that the songs from DSOTM and onwards have not as much potential musically as the early stuff has, or at least not all the songs on all albums after 1973. This version of Atom Heart Mother is spot on, but maybe there´s a chance you will give us the full 25 minute version in one of your upcoming tours? :D
