Start buying Ferraris or keep buying them if you already do buy them. Become a premier buyer own millions of dollars worth of their product and maybe they might build you a kit also. And yes i agree with you that is a sweet looking kit

Probably the most, if not THE most ignored drummer in the world. Never the less he played in a band which sold 250 million records worldwide and did some of Rock´s greatest music ever recorded. For me he was a melodic drummer ... very rare and outstanding.

Britannia Row studios & Battersea power station. This wasn't so much a PF tour, but an ad for Ferrari. That being said, I saw Nick Masons Saucerful of Secrets show in Melbourne, Australia three weeks ago - absolutely fantastic.

Did you spot that one of the 4 chimneys at Battersea Power Station was missing? Agree with Nick Mason that you need a decent sound system to hear Pink Floyd as they intended - Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here are available in multi-channel DSD format.

The man has had a very lucky life. Dave Gilmour and Roger Waters were the real talent, Rick too. Nick came across as very spoilt (in a film I watched about Pink Floyd). But who cares. If there is one thing that is awesome about them all, is *taste*. They all have it. And *class*. Look at how beautiful his surroundings are - you can't buy that taste. They had it in their DNA. So, good for you Mr Mason :)

best definition of Pink Floyd and this chemistry that was way beyond the sum of their individual talents was a comment I've read on youtube: Imagine the band as a human being. emotion (Dave), logic thought (Roger), sense of humor (Nick), intuition (Rick). You simply can't take any of them away without destroying the whole creature. Pink Flyod's music contains the same unicity as human existence.

No he didn’t. His father was a racing documentary film maker for Shell Oil. His grandfather ran a grocery store, and was mayor till he died in office. Hardly aristocracy.

But the trouble is, that a lot of these bands are not very good. In the old days, a band would play clubs, church halls pubs, anywhere they could get a gig. The good ones honed their craft, got a manager, a contract, and if they were good enough, a fan base that grew. When they wrote songs, they toured with them, the ones that worked went to album, the ones that didn't went I the bim. Now all they have to do is upload any bit of rubbish, if it's a bit better than all the other bits of rubbish, it gets into the charts. Or they go on a Simon Cowell show and get instant fame, for ten minutes.
