A song I wrote about childhood and not realizing how lucky I was at the time.
When we’re children all we want to do is grow up, not realizing that the connections and memories we make as children are the ones we will always cherish the most. Forming real relationships become so much harder when we get older. It gets hard to talk to people you used to hang out with every single day, so friendships just fade and vanish.
I would love to go back to when we would have weeklong sleepovers and all we wanted to do was skate and eat shitty food. I hope my old friends are good. I miss them so much.
