Today (Nov. 13th) The Lion King celebrates 15 years on Broadway. This is my tribute to an amazing piece of musical history.
Big thanks to Disney Theatrical, SHN, and the touring company of The Lion King for making this happen. Shooting this video was a childhood dream come true.

+Regina Brown And you're trying to compare this glorious man to Kidzbop? Commencing Class 5 facepalm. Look, I'm fairly sure that Kidzbop gets some sort of licensing deal from the songwriters that they're covering, being the big, bland, corporate cashcow they are. But this man, like most other RU-vidrs, is an independent creator, meaning that this glorious work of art was created by him and him alone. (Maybe a few others too, but still.) Unless it's a parody with new lyrics, he can't try to monetize this without getting sued by Disney, which is really the last company you want to get sued by. So that's why you won't see an album of this glorious masterpiece. :/

I think they were left off because the actors who play timon and pumbaa are controlling puppets and suits that look like them. So to get them nick would need camera farther away to get body shot, which is rare Nick to do longer than 30 seconds. That probably same reason their not hyenas appear either. They had their own song and they are not there to do scar's choir. Second reason may just be for time. Most of his videos don't go longer than 15 minutes, and I watch documentary of the play that depends what the actor played, if they gone vacation and got a tan, etc. it can 1to 3 hours get ready and made sure everything operational. He probably called and asked come after the show or during practice if have these four actors for the video.

"He Lives In You" was originally written for ''Rhythm of the Pride Lands'', an album inspired by ''The Lion King'' that was released in 1995. The sequel merely used the song later in 1998.

nick is a great singer and i havent seen the lion king musical, but im just wondering why he gave rafiki a higher pitch voice, ive only seen the movie so it just seemed an odd choice
