I absolutely acknowledge Rybakina as a threat to Iga. But it's very hard for me to seriously consider someone who is so inconsistent. It's the same with Ostapenko. I will worry about this matchup, but only when the match actually starts because, before that, it's more likely that they'll both (Rybakina & Ostapenko) bomb out.
Rybakina inconsistent? She made 5 finals in 2024 and won 3 titles. She has the most wins after Swiatek. She once lost and once beat both world number 1 and number 2 in 2024. If that is inconsistent, i mean you are kind of lost
Solid list, Nick. But I'd replace Sloane Stephens with Vika. Azarenka made quarters in Rome and Charleston. Hell, I'd put Zheng Qinwen over Sloane at this point. It doesn't matter, though, as Queen Danimal gonna take it. 💪🇺🇸👑
