Georgia fan here. Had to come watch the segment where Saban stopped them from leaving to brag on these 2 young men. Massive respect to Saban. These 2 guys are some of the best I’ve seen in college football. I’m very happy the dawgs finally ended the dry spell but this Alabama team is no joke. A lot of young talent that will carry Alabama back to the top next year. Both teams played a hell of a game and Bama, without a doubt, will be back in full force next year with this young talent. Good game everyone!

As fans, i think we're all pretty satisfied with this year. Back to back is remarkably difficult, and we all saw this team play during the season. What a remarkable year, considering. Next year will be our year. Roll Tide.
Thanks Coach Saban these guys need nothing but praise...I hate that they lost but my God look at all the times we won. True fans will not feel bad but will get ready for next season! I love my team and will not say anything negative about them.
Aygie Hall deserves a start next year...he lacked the experience but you can tell he will be that guy next year. Great season SEC champ, Cotton Bowl and a Heisman win? Any team would want those achievements. Heads up we will be back! Roll Tide!
We all know that Coach Saban is a great leader for his players. I was amazed how he stood up for Bryce Young and Will Anderson and told the media how proud he was of them and all the other players on the team. Coach Saban always goes to bat for his players, especially when they are great contributors to the team. Our guys got tired in the 4th Quarter. Also, lets not forget that we had a fairly young roster. We will be better next year. Roll Tide!
Thank you for this interview. I am an international ex student from The University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. I am really proud that these guys represent our university, great job!. Crimson tide was the only team that beat UGA in the whole season, so they are the two best teams of the whole country. A great team is also known when it losses. These persons are excellent athletes and humble, they know how to win but also how to lose. They have the excellent example of their leader, Nick Saban whose words have reached people from other countries, not just US. Congratulations to all of you, great things are coming for you. as a 49 year Bama fan - I could feel this one coming. They are young. They lost some key key players. When Williamson went down - I could feel the flood that took place in the 4th quarter. Congrats to Georgia - great year, showed a lot of grit coming back against Michigan - and are very worthy champions. Meanwhile - the Crimson Tide will be back at it next year - full on. Roll Tide.
Honestly, I'm tired of the SEC winning this crazy thing every year but one thing I'll say, I have nothing but respect for coach Saban. You hear very little about any issues with AL football and I believe molding young men into responsible human beings is a high priority to him. Wish we had more men like him in football today.
We didn’t lose to a bad team, we lost to like our “other brother”. SEC teams are powerful 4 and 5 star team players. Remember how we Dismantled the other teams in the Playoff games? Georgia and U crushed those them!! This was the clash of 2 Titans!! Keep your head up! You are still Champions.. other teams wished they had the success we have had. We look forward to next year.. Injuries finally caught up to team. When you lose both Starting WR's. 2nd and 3rd String RB, Starting Center, Both Cornerbacks and expect to beat another Elite Team. That simple..

I'm not a fan of either team....but Saban,& those kids are total class,& true Champions. And unlike some fans,& media...Saban realizes it's not only about national titles. Winning the SEC,Cotton bowl,& getting that close is still an amazing accomplishment. Especially when you consider their injuries...2 All world wrs go down,& I know they had issues at RB. Those 3 are too classy to say it,but honestly those 2 stud wrs getting hurt,is the main reason they fell short. Not the only reason,but the main reason...ya I think so. But some of those questions are just awful...you can tell Saban is just beyond himself with these idiots.
Jason smith…..well said, injuries can definitely affect the outcome of any game for any team and Alabama had more than a lions share of injuries to very key players, now that may be just how the game of football rolls but it is a huge disadvantage
Tough loss, I thought Bama didn't have to push the ball down field on that int. There was time plus 3 timeouts. Saban is the 🐐 and these boys will learn and be back better.
Remember, these guys will be back next year healthy!!! Let's me say that again, healthy! We just had too many injuries to see the game through and if Georgia doesn't realize they received an alignment of the stars in their favor, they need to think again because they could not have beaten Alabama if they didn't have so many key players out. I am happy for Kirby and Georgia to finally get a natty. I was born in Athens, GA and went to school at UA, so I have much love for both places. Roll Tide!!!
Our will anderson wasnt playing because of a legal matter.. pickens half speed.. our transfer all american safety hurt.. starting olineman out for the year.. we all deal with injuries..

Poor conditioning ?!!! think not you could’ve said the same in the first half Georgia defense with hands on hips sucking wind , cause of short offensive drives .Now second half roles reversed with the surge of the Bulldog offense. As a Alabama fan Dam this one hurt more because it would have been a repeat but I don't think Saban will ever repeat again as long as he coach Alabama .
Best believe this Bama team will be back playing for the natty next year for sure no doubt. A lot of guys coming back especially that defense. The d will be nasty next year. Playoff prediction 1 bama, 2 Oregon ,3 Oklahoma st. ,4 Ohio st.

Not that any loss is easy. Especially championship losses.........but I think most people know that this loss is somewhat tainted due to all of the key injuries for the bama offense. Congrats to georgia though. They did still make the plays they needed to. Also another lopsided stat: georgia is going to lose about 20 guys to graduation and draft, bama may lose 6-10

The only disappointment I felt the entire game, and somebody can correct me if I saw it wrong, was during the last minute of the game when it was obviously out of reach. I'll watch it again and I hope I got it wrong but it felt like the O-line just sat down and let Bryce take a beating in that final possession. Kinda reminded me of the LSU O-line with Mettenberger in 2013. Outside of that, nothing but proud of this team.

If you're Georgia, a victory over 2/3rds of the Tide is worth as much as a victory over the Tide completely healthy. The two missing injured receivers would have made the catches that their replacements dropped. Young was very gracious to take responsibility, but he was put into adverse circumstances that otherwise would not have happened. Mind you, I'm a Georgia fan relieved to not be a bridesmaid once more. But I don't mind admitting reality.
Well Nicky got a little short there when asked what it felt like when Georgia went down to score.....and Bryce is all about he didn't do or they didn't do .......what about Georgia's defense deserves some credit....it's a battle and tonight Georgia was the better team....sure it hurts to lose but show some grit and say well, we got beat....wished it was different but we'll be back and give it another shot. It wasn't all about you Bryce there were other players and at the end of the day give you opponent their due they just out played you. Sounds all about him....Bamma has left many opponents feeling so k like this now you get a taste of it yourself. But show some class and give Georgia their due they deserved the win. And yes it was a great season second place sucks but it's better than Third, fourth, etc....Coach Saban is a Great Coach no doubt about it and did it right to state how proud he was of his guys in front of the world....don't worry Bamma fans you'll be on this podium again next year probably in a much better mood!

Oh make no mistake about it ALABAMA will be back next year and don't really care how it's spelled NOT A BAMA FAN! And not knocking Bryce for stepping up and trying to take responsibility....that's what a LEADER does. Just recognize that HE wasn't the only reason BAMA lost! At the end of the day you give credit where credit is due instead of mumbling and whining about how you didn't get it done! He is a GREAT talent and will no doubt be playing in Sunday's and it's good to step up and own it but show class and recognize that your opponent played a great game! BAMA is quick to recognize their opponent after BAMA has crushed them into the ground but when BAMA loses it's not that the other team played their *sses off it's because BAMA didnt get it done! Whatever on the grand scale of things it don't really matter anyway because like I said BAMA will be in the hunt again next year...and the year after that....and the year after that....and so on.......until Nick decides he's done enough!

the reason alabama lost was not because of young but because they asked to much of him. they lost because they can not run the football. this has been a problem all year.
He's already won a LOT at Bama. I know what you mean though, he's a WV guy, but I think it's a bit late in his career to be changing jobs and taking on rebuilding projects.

The Heisman Trophy QB throws two picks and one was a pick six that made a huge difference in the game. He proved he's not the best player in college football. He's not even the best player on Alabama's team.
Saban does a good job in this presser taking-up for and protecting his players here. The first question by the media guy was absolutely idiotic. On another note, my one criticism of Saban’s coaching style is that he develops guys in practice only. So, that limits a young player’s game experience. While that’s served the team and players well, it also bit Saban in the azz tonight as guys didn’t have enough game experience.
