Chris may have just found out the Eagles problem. He just said Siriani has no situational awareness….what does the offense look like? It looks like they have no situational awareness. The team takes on the identity of the head coach. They don’t take the game seriously because they don’t take the coach seriously.

The fact that Sirianni can't function like an adult without Big Dom DiSandro says a ton about the former. Secondly, there's a reason why Frank Reich never gave Sirianni play calling duties and let him just handle gameplan install.

Nick came over to this area and began saying "I told you we would run! I told you!" Admittedly, this is paraphrasing because I had indulged quite a bit at this point. The point being that it was not an unwarranted, nor did I see it as aggressive. Rather, I saw it as him making a point to let me know that he followed through.” Context definitely matters, the story isn’t always as it seems

I’ve been saying it for years, he’s a bad coach because he’s a terrible person. And I get Chris Long defending him, but he’s wrong, and I get why he said what he said. He doesn’t want to ruffle feathers. But man how much evidence do you need to realize he’s just not a very high character person. He’s cocky (not confident) for no reason, and just talks endless crap while expecting other people (the players) to back him up. The reality is I have my questions about Jalen Hurts as a QB, I think he’s pretty good, he’s just not a top 5-8 guy, probably right around the 10th best QB in the league, give or take. But Hurts does seem to be a very good leader, which I think is probably the only thing keeping the Eagles somewhat together at this point. If I was player (which I never could be) I’d be real upset with Nick at this point. This isn’t the first time, it keeps happening, over and over again. The guy just doesn’t seem to want to learn from his mistakes, and to me, that’s one of the worst signs that a guy is incompetent, at any job.

I'll be honest. Im from Philly, born and raised. And while I don't agree with Sirianni's behavior -- I get it. Us Eagle's fans are ROOOOUGH brother. There's talk of firing Sirianni, getting rid of Hurts, Howie, etc... They hear it every week. It's almost like a constant "what have you done for me lately" more than any other town in sports. Although that hunger keeps us constantly competing for NFC championships and constantly in the chase for SB's (we havent had a era of horrible teams in decades), it also HAS to be frustrating for players and coaches here. So I give him a little slack. I watch other teams 4 games in and its just a different narrative at 2-2. Its week 5 and they're playing to get better whereas with the Eagles it's almost like "if we dont win this week my jobs over, the season is over". EVERY Season. This didn't start with the fall off from last season. Again, if Im being honest, this is how we've been my entire life.

I keep hoping someone will fully embrace the heel role in the NFL. I mean you could just do the best Iron Sheikh ever as either a head coach or a starting QB.
