I liked Nick's first snowflake more than Matteo's. Nick's was all spiky and more unique. Matteo's was so round and had was more paper than negative space. I think the negative space is really what makes the look of snowflakes.

I also didn't know that the paper needed to be folded in that specific way first before cutting shapes into it in order to make these properly. So you genuinely did give a wonderful tutorial!! I also love this idea for winter decor. You made a great point about still wanting to keep things festive and whimsical in the wintertime but not holiday focused. Nick’s first one looks like a Star Wars flyer thingy (sorry, I’m more of a Star Trek girl, speaking of which, “fold it into a Star Fleet badge” was how I saw the third step) and aren’t all six arms supposed to be similar if not identical?! So I loved Matteo’s first one more for authenticity and maintaining grace under fire. It went off-piste after that and it was great. 😂❄️
