How’d you feel about the IST? I thought it wasn’t perfect and they need to tweak it a bit, but for the first go around it was good. Really competitive bball during a time we ideally don’t get that…the single KO rounds were awesome, and the Vegas games were fun too. I’m excited about that as they continue to fix it. I’d tune back in if I were you btw. They’re calling lee’s fouls, games are being officiated closer to playoff games in the last month or two and it’s been great. Regardless I assume you watch the playoffs still? No matter how good the reg season was, the playoffs are always fantastic. And this season w so much parity…even the play in will be sick. We are gonna have like 4 of these 5 teams w these players in the West: LBJ/AD, Steph/Klay/Dray, KD/Book/Beal, Luka/Kyrie, and Sabonis/Fox. In the East, Jimmy/Bam/Herro, PHI, DeMar/Coby/Ayo etc, Hali/Siakam/Turner, and ATL. The west will have 4 fun teams regardless. The East should have at least 2-3. Then the actual playoffs should be awesome every round.

@@BOnYTB The IST was great and far more entertaining than regular season games. Majority of the fans and media enjoyed it (per sports shows & social media reactions) and had nothing but positive things to say about the IST up until that big bad man won it then they all had to instantly downplay and shit on the Tournament like good little sheep. LeBron has broken people's brains more than any other athlete in human history, it's extremely puzzling yet humorous to have watched it all play out during his career, especially as we've gotten deeper in his career.

@@supdall345 ya I was asking the OP, Nick def still watches and enjoys the NBA. We’ve seen a change in refereeing, less foul hunting being called starting a month or two ago especially and it’s good. As close as we can get to playoff games the better, and most playoff games are refereed differently and way better. More bs is just let go, they let them play more. I like that, and I hope it keeps improving. The IST to me was fantastic. Anything that’ll give us more competitive games is great point blank, and it did that. Winning the IST isn’t close to winning the chip, but it’s a cool honor to win the first one. I think/hope players will continue to take it seriously, and they have every incentive to. The immediate money, and the future $ that the IST can make them if it gains great popularity and can be packaged in a TV deal for even more BRI which the players get half of. The play in is awesome too, we’ve had some great play in games since it was implemented.

Nick's point on the heat losing and the warriors winning, I think another interesting part that pains me to say as a warriors fan, but I think us losing in 7 after 73-9 to LeBron was probably the best thing that could've ever happened to the league. Cause then it created more drama, there was a new rivalry of Steph vs LeBron, and when KD came to us, we went from being the cute new team, to laughing stock of epic proportions for a minute, and then evil empire dark side doom lords. LeBron had been the villain in Miami, and now he has as the hero again and the little train that could golden State Warriors went from cute upstarts to the biggest of all villains. Basically ever since 2016 and the KD signing, LeBron has been a hero, and for the most part, people outside the bay root for the warriors downfall

To hear colin say Chicago arguably has the best pass rush in the nfc north is a testament to the bears roster moves and coaching since last yr because that was a huge weakness going into the last season. Eberflus has the defense moving in the right direction and i love the offseason offense moves, but the key chess piece unfortunately at QB had to be changed. Lets go caleb, bear down!

As a Chargers fan I've probably done 200+ mock drafts in the last few months and lemme tell u I'm always at war with myself deciding between taking a generational WR like MHJ or Nabers, ESPECIALLY after we got rid of BOTH of our top 2 WR's, and trading down a loading up on picks for the reasons u guys stated. Literally WW3. But since MIN aquired those 2 first rounders it's just too juicy to pass up that potential trade down with all the roster holes we have at WR, CB, C, RT, LB, DL, and TE. The U.S. is picky. The NBA is as international as it’s ever been but the face of the league will be an American. International players know this and they are unconcerned. Most of the international players play with their native countries during Olympics. That can’t happen if you’re the face of the NBA.

Bryce Young knows how to play top notch football, he’s done it his whole life. Mater Dei, best California HS, Alabama, best college football team in the SEC(NCAA). Caleb Williams came from D.C and USC (PAC 12). Young didn’t even have a mediocre team. He played with the 2017 version of the Cleveland Browns. This is why I love football, it’s not about the best players, it’s about the best team(group of players-- even depth if injury happens, it’s about coaching and scouting and drafting as well.) Bryce Young will have a better career than Trevor Lawrence, and a similar year this year to Caleb Williams.
