"The government is decommissioning lighthouses. This aggression will not stand. I'm serious, they're decommissioning lighthouses. This is the last straw. Do you know why? GPS. Ships have it too. But we know how that goes. We have GPS. What does it do? 'Treacherous rocks ahead. You are still on the best route.' Glug glug glug. That's how that goes. We don't need GPS in our ships. No. We need something strong. Made of brick or something. Tall. Noble. With a light at the top that rotates."

The version they did in Jax was much cleaner but always amazing. So glad I got to watch them perform live again.

This song is great musical literature, full of imagination, intellect and emotion. Too bad the sound guy ruined it for this audience. Thile doesn't need to be so out front. Listening to NC should be like falling into a soft bed of marshmellows, not a bed of nails. The transient spikes made this almost unlistenable (and it looks like it was filmed from the $$$ seats).
