Yeah, those kids standing next to me talking in the background were cute and funny. ^_^ There's lot's of people and kids still refer to the 1225 as the Polar Express. When 765 was filling in for 1225 @ Trainfest, many were people confuse when they saw the 765. There were many people that made the trek up from Indiana to see the 765. We are thankful to have a regional railroad like GLC. Ohio is the other state where Nickel Plate Road was king.
I don't think there is a lot of room inside FWRHS 701. I know it was a former Baggage-Kitchen used for the US Army. It's got a good amount of tools use for service stops. Kleman09 would know more than I do.
Is that Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society tool car used for passengers or is it used as a material handling car? Im wondering because it seems like in almost every video of this train, the car is never occupied.
