I was in an abusive relationship and this was "our" song. There are a lot of layers, but this song still gets to me. Crying as we speak, but I can't help but love Nickelback and this song in particular anyway. ❤️

I was in an abusive relationship with someone full of jealousy issues, front loaded with trauma from previous relationships... I hear this song and I think of her. BUT, it's still a great song beyond all of that. I'm in an exceptional relationship now and I want to reclaim this for better love. I hope you're doing great.
