One of the if not the coolest band I've ever met and they put on one of the best live shows I've ever been to. I can't wait to see the guys again in concert.
I wish that everyone who wanted to see them could, cause they are truly amazing, in if I had the resources I would pay for all to see them once in their lifetime
I really wanted to see these guys live, but was unable to. When they tour again I will really try to get some tickets. I don't understand why so many people don't like them. I can understand different tastes in music, but these guys well and truely rock!
They are despised because they wear black all the time, and black signifies evil, and evil spawned Nickelback in the foulest pits of hell and made them put out a bunch of samey sounding songs. WHY, SATAN???
I was hoping this would make me dislike them less, instead it just gave me an even clearer perception of how generic they are about making their music.
Well that is your opinion, and i understand it as much as you do. Personally I think their songs are quite good and lifts my mood sometimes. If you don't like it, the best thing you can do is, well, not listen to it. I could apologise for Nickelback being played everywhere, but believe it or not, I am having a hard time looking for a Nickelback song outside of YT. None of the channels i watch show it, and when I finally find one and put it on, it is one of the nicest sounds around.
that is the true-est comment i have seen in youtube for a while. those people who hate on them, could easily jump the bandwagon once they have met them, be nice and all, tell them they love them. and then when they leave, the people turn their backs on them for god knows why, perhaps jealousy love and hate are funny things in life. but i dont really care about these two words. if people hate nickelback, do so. but for fucks sake they dont have to go all up on chad kroeger's face about it.
Another thing, why do you hate them? Are you jealous? Did they ignore you at a concert? You can't simply say 'Oooooh Nickelback sucks' simply because they dont make the right type of rock music for you (bear in mind there are so many different kinds of rock music). If you don't like their music, it is simply because it's not your type of rock. Find something else and stick to it, and don't ruin the enjoyment of other people who actually like this band. You don't see AC/DC haters trolling do you?
And who asked you? You haters are so obsessed with disliking people that it becomes less genuine and more of a hobby. Several months ago one person I know actually forgot about his date trolling youtube. Okay, so I hate Justin Bieber, I cant stand him or his music, but do I troll about it? No I keep it to myself. You can tell Chad Kroeger's face that he sucks, and I can guarantee you all he would do is laugh and ignore you.
I agree with you that most of today's music is shit, but Nickleback aren't the only awesome rock n' roll band out there making music today. There's Slash, Aerosmith, ACDC, Hinder, Deep Purple, and so on... You should be more opened minded when it comes to music.
Nickelback should not allowed to wear A Rush T-shirt!!! Only real musicians! This is the biggest sell out band ever, they have no real substance. Nickelback tries to be A hard rock band, they just need to leave it to the profectionals! After all these years you would think the guitar player would improve? Guitar solo? Maybe having A song that doesn't have basic chords or power chords?
