I've found that most of my favorite songs/bands are from Canada! I never noticed that til about 4-5 months ago starting with @BryanAdams & @loverboy when I was a little kid to my teenage & adult years with @AlanisMorisette @ShaniaTwain @SaintAsonia @ThreeDaysGrace @AvrilLavigne @TheoryMusic .....jeez, there's so many more but these are ones I love alot❤ 🎶❤
People meme on them all the time and I still don't know why. I never understood people saying "this band / song changed my life" Nickelback did that for me, and I am proud to say it.
I have loved Nickelback for so long now that i can't remember when I first heard them. I have never understood why people bag them all the time. Live in concert they are absolutely phenomenal. My all-time favourite song is Far Away & when I heard them sing it live in concert I cried like a baby. I love these guys & I will never get sick of listening to their music.
As Canadian growing up as a eight year old, I am listen to them for that long I’m turning 26 on March 27, and I’ve been listening to them for years and still like their songs to this day my favourite song on Nickelback burn it to the Ground is one of the favourites of all time. Also, Dark Horse album is always in my favorites, and it was still favourites to this day I love you Nickelback. You guys are awesome I don’t know why people start hating on you guys. I still like your music so I don’t hate you I love you guys and I don’t understand why people hate on them. Please don’t hate Nickelback. I support Nickelback I think they’re actually good just some people hate them back to my high school days my high school elementary school years don’t know why hates Nickelback Don’t know why my class hates Nickelback but anyways I appreciate you guys. Thank you for being part of my childhood. Love you bye for now
My mom played their music so much when I was little that I just started automatically turning it on in the car every time! 😂 now we are going to see them in concert!
So cool hearing about the origins of the lyrics of some songs I always liked but never really thought about. These guys are so down to earth and dedicated to their art, which is lovely to see. Never understood why people dogged them so heavily when their music is so great.
Some people are just on another level; professionally. Nickelback is one of those bands that expects near perfection/ effort creating their music. Fan from day one and always will be. 🤘🔥
You guys are younger than my children, but you remind me of when I was young, my late husband and I used to love rock and roll, you have just gone up a good few notches in my mind. I love your music and your attitude of life. Good show and loved this interview. Shows you are humble and human.
Can't wait for the guys to come back to Australia now that concerts are back on. I saw them when they were here before the world went into lockdown & as always they put on a fantastic, entertaining bloody funny Rock concert & they have as much fun onstage as the audience does watching them.
I saw Bruce Springsteen Born In The USA tour. It was 4hours and 4o minutes of just Bruce, no opening act. It is still my all time best concert! I would be grateful to see Nickelback with no one else. I would stay for hours and hours to hear them...
Chad you can sell ice to me in my igloo any day🤣🤣😂🤣. Love you guys……can’t wait to see the sick ride❤️❤️❤️❤️ See you in June boys…..stay safe. Much love💋💋💋💋
I was jammin to y'all eeons ago lol my daughter and her friends were like who is this? I said NickelBack! Their awesome, right? Kid Rock, 3 Doors Down.. Pearl Jam.. so they were hooked too! I'm so excited for the new tune's... I'm tired of the same 10 songs All day! LoL Thanks For Some Great Memories too! Hopefully I'll get to see you when you get to SC! 😊🙂 Your All blessed and doing very good! Rock On! 😁😎🙂
Nickelback are an incredible Alberta ( as I’ve been corrected ) band and no matter what the rest of the world says they are sung, screamed, hummed and memed. And as a fellow resident of this rockin province im PROUD to say they continue to give the world the music we all enjoy . KEEP IT ROCKIN BOYS!!! PS...... My cows love it as well!!
💗Thanks for this great interview. Most have been cookie-cutter interviews by the host. You made this one fuller and so much more interesting. I am dying to see the photograph on Chad's phone!!! 🤣
Another great interview by Zack! Nickelback and Linkin Park were both the "most hated band" in the world in the 2000s... because they were two of the most POPULAR band of the 2000s.
A terrific interview on YT thanks guys for sharing! The best hot rockin band in 2024 & they are on their second year now of the 'Get Rollin' tour is amazing! Don't miss this show!Luv ya since the 90's & for always & making mixed albums satisfies everyone's fix! ❤🎶🎸 🔥🔥🎉⚡😘
Savin’ Me is one of my favorite songs! This interview was so cool to listen to. Hoping to snag tickets to Houston or Dallas. Have always loved Nickelback.
Love this collection of songs. The lack of sales has to be due to distribution issues. It went from #30 debut in week 1, and outside the top #200 on week 2 Best album of their career.
Nickelback has been my one and only favourite band for years i look up to these guys hoping to be like them one day because i sing very well almost like chad no joke and my dream is to create my own band and make albums music and go touring like they are epic awesome rock out all the way guys they will be my future band mentor 😎😎😎🎸🎸🎸
It’s all about believing in what your doing, believing that it’s going to go somewhere, believing in your abilities, and believing in yourself. You have to write your own, you have to show originality, and personality. You can look at anything as a curse or a blessing just like the cup is half full or half empty. The difference between the two bands is: two different bands entirely, two different personalities. Rock star, in a way, could be looked at as intuition, a lot of things they sung about actually happened. Love, Light, tragedy lololololol love it. 😊😊 11 is a spiritual number. Some people don’t open gifts 🎁
3:50 I mean, really though, if it's your favorite band, you probably DO know all the deep cuts and most if not all of their catalog. I doubt this scenario is likely at all - and Mr. Krueger, no offense, but I think you're underestimating how much your fans love your band and know your catalog. Personally, I would love to see "Where Do I Hide" and "Woke Up This Morning" become a regular part of their set. I think any long-time Nickelback fan would agree those are amazing tunes that do not get the due they deserve.
I don't care about all the haters I've actually enjoyed NB since I first heard them in 2004, I think maybe 2003 idk, the Hollywood album I jammed out to as a high school kid. And when everyone hated on them I was just "I like 'em" anyway... Hi 👋 if you read this.
Musicians don't say bad stuff about NB, just the ignorant masses. The same group dogs Lars while they play COD in their Mom's basement and are often late because of it for their shift at 7-11.
Loved this interview. So happy they have a platform like this to express themselves. Really wish Far Away had been brought up though, kinda shocked that it wasn't.
I'm 45 and old school, I still buy physical CD's. When I left home I had a sick CD collection worth thousands, lots of limited, deluxe editions. Silver Side Up with Live at Home was in my collection which 2 people decided to steal a bunch of, the absolute relief when they hadn't stolen that one was palpable. However I did judge them for not stealing it because it's amazing, way better than some of what they stole. Karma got them, one of them is deceased young and the other is now fat 🤣 sorry not sorry 🤷🏼♀. I have dark humour, I'm Scottish, don't judge me 😂
3:46 love you Chad but I gotta disagree. If a band is truly your favorite like how Nickelback is my favorite then you would know all of their songs and want to hear the rare ones. I wish Nickelback would play more deep cuts live…
Yeah it's kind of a wash rinse repeat thing I would like to here see you at the show throw yourself away some of the older stuff from silver side up or the long road
@@shanecunningham2437 same! I would love if they would play some Curb songs and even Hesher songs live. It makes me sad when Chad talks about how much he detests their old stuff, I think it’s just as good as their popular stuff. I also think they should play more Feed The Machine songs since they only ever played 2 songs from that album live
