There is something a bit wholesome about how Ren and Stimpy’s victory animation is the happy happy joy joy song. Back in the actual show, Stimpy made the helmet for Ren for him to become forcefully happy, and he was in extensive pain throughout the episode, even during this dance. Seeing Ren be this happy and the dance with Stimpy without the happy helmet means that he is actually genuinely this excited and giddy he won the match.

Like this is a cool crossover, and there are a ton of tiny visual Easter eggs that they included. But there’s just so much jank in places. The animation is decent at times. Pretty often though, the models look off. But from the lack of original music from the source to the literal zero character voices, it just seems incomplete. I know it’s probably a licensing issue or a cost cutting measure and probably not the developers initial choice. But I think I am going to wait for a sale, if I ever even do decide to get it.

I give this game credit. They really manage to capture the personalities of every character with their animations alone. Still, the lack of voice acting is really jarring. I hope they add it in an update. It also bothers me that none of the characters have alternate costumes, or colors, for that matter

The developers did say they have loads of plan for the future, including voice acting. I will say alternate costumes do need to be in the game cause its really confusing playing a ditto match

@@Shocknfunk A little absurd but all the hitboxs are really good. A smash game like this would be 60 so at least they didn't full price it. Also Nick got to decide the price not them which is crazy. Edit: They are gonna use the money to improve the game. Graphically first, then colors, and then voice acting

@@weerrpp still though it’s not anywhere on that lvl of quality to warrant the price. They have much better sales if it was around the 20s and made a deal with Microsoft to be put on gamepass. You can expect this to drop quick though since Black Friday is coming up quick.

i think the problem is the animations not the models like Ren looks super jarring because he’s basically switching head models there’s no animation for transitioning between expressions so it just looks off

@@sandycrash8868 I confirm. In Latin America, Africa and some countries of Europe, we recognize Fairly Oddparents more as a Disney show instead of a Nicktoon. In 2000's Nick videogames, they didn't bring any issue, but now that Nelvana and Frederator are not working witn Nick, the show representation in Nick projects is unexistent.

Tbh there's a few characters that I feel don't work super well in a 3d style, mainly ren, stimpy, and zim but there are some that just look off. Tbh this might just be that these characters haven't really had a lot of 3d models beforehand or are just simple designs that could be translated without a lot of squash and stretch which is surprising considering catdog is really well animated

I find it weird that Danny Fenton/Phantom was in this game but there were no reps from "Fairly-Odd Parents"! I mean, a lot of people might think a share-team (like Ren & Stimpy or Cat-Dog) by Wanda & Cosmo might've been OP, but with Wanda's strict adherence to rule they'd nerf themselves a bit to participate! plus I would've loved to have seen Tootie been given "love-themed" ninjutsu moves and weaponry! also= I guess the guys at Nick found a way to fit in Patrick's most recent meme (his VA threatening to nail someone to his door) and found a PG way to make it into his losing animation, LOL!

You know what's sad, Butch Hartman didn't even know that Danny Phantom was in the game until he reacted to trailer for the first time, but that's what happens if you don't work at Nickelodeon anymore, they get to use the character's whenever they want if the creator isn't a part of the company anymore, since Butch isn't the copyright holder.
