I have been playing non-stop the past 2 days. When did children's games become so hard?? I failed getting 3 stars nearly 70 times and had to restart on fast cups :| didn't even get to insane yet.
Yes I think the reason why you are struggling with insane mode is that you have to have speed crew members no matter if the speed says insane you have to have a speed build
I see you don't have anything speed-related in your setup. I would suggest having a crew to help you catch up to the insane AI. Grandpa Phil or Mrs. Puff work great.
@@fernandobanda5734 im wondering like. what do u think are the best options for like chiefs and crew members. and what do u think are the best characters/stats to go for. i almost have 3 of the cups 3 star on insane and just got game yesterday. i will probably get another 3 star tonight but i wanna know if im picking good setups :) thank u
@@ivym00nn I personally like to have a balance between attack, defense and boost among my crew, although it's not necessary if you think you can compensate. Best crews to attack / stop a boosting opponent: Karai, Abner from afar, Gaz, Bigheads, Lisa, Phil and Lil if you can get a bit closer. Best crews for defense: Bow Bow, Filburt, Tucker, maybe Vlad if your chief is a boost (because that's when you definitely don't want to be hit). Eugene if you don't mind losing your drift. Best crews for boosting: Really Really Big Man is a bit op, especially if your chief needs you to be closer. Grandpa Phil (or Rancid Rabbit) doesn't activate much but it's a bit advantage. Valerie if you have another crew that gives you a projectile. Mrs. Puff if you have high turbo. As for stats, definitely turbo if you already know how to take advantage of drifting and jumping. Steering and/or drift in place of top speed can be surprisingly good in tracks with weird curves (steering for subtle curves like Glove Universe and drift for wider curves like Foodcourtia or Air Temple Island). If you're not taking advantage of drifting, then just maximize top speed. Some of my setups are: JoJo, BowBow, Mrs. Puff, Abner, Minimoose Engine, Slime Wheels, Rainbow Exhaust - All-in turbo, bad steering/drift but Puff compensates, BowBow serves as shield but also gets me back to top speed after being hit or gives me advantage if I'm winning, even if just slightly. Korra, Karai, Kimi, Valerie, 90s TV Engine, Log Wheels, Water Tribe Exhaust - More control than the previous build and two methods to get projectiles for Valerie. Obviously the toy balls and footballs can also protect me against some stuff. Heavily dependent on actually hitting someone though. Donnie, Sam, Gary, Mako, Dinomite Engine, Toy Ball Wheels, Ice Cream Exhaust - My meme build. Insane steering/drift allows me to snake, which triggers Mako constantly giving me a lot of slime. It does require two slots just for that so my chief is trying to be balanced between boosting me, protecting me and hitting opponents. Best when winning as your constant Thermoses constantly dominate shortcuts.
