Does anybody remember Mario kart Dubble Dash, The All Cup Tour? That shit was hard as hell to complete. But once you do complete that damm Cup, you get the most satisfying achievement feeling when you finally do. So I can't wait!!! to try this game out and it's insane difficulty Mode.

Usually on insane Gerald cheats so damn hard or even catdog like those 2 literally take the piss i get into first and on lap 3 they fly on by leaving me in 3rd it's frustrating as hell. Even changing my setup on my kart or my crew doesn't help much
I love so much Nick Kart Racing 2, it's super fun and I love everyting on it... than I get to insane mode and just have to stop. Everything you say in the video are exactly my feelings! Its INSANE and any game should not have a stupid thing as Insane Mode. Bamtang are really talented, but with this mode they blow it, man. Great video, hope it catch the developer's attention.
@@fernandobanda5734 i was working to get the platinum trophy on ps4 & i had been working for days on finishing fast mode just for there to be a new secret impossible level wasting all my time and progress. so annoying
If it was just the faster speed and the computers abusing you with items it would be fine but to me it's painfully obvious that the ai is faster than you when I'm using 3 boosts at the same time and the computers are beating me by driving regularly. I'm still gonna be one of the 0.5% of people who got the achievement Update: I finally got the achievement!
@@fernandobanda5734 I agree. If I'm not having fun, I won't play it. I'm playing medium speed and I'm enjoying it. But I also did some challenges that seem to be on a higher speed and the way the AI plays is simply cheating. If in order to get a virtual trophy I have to spend some grueling time, I'll pass it.
@@marconobrega4459 The AI doesn't cheat though. The game has very deep mechanics and the challenges demand middle-of-the-road skills. Not trying to be mean but most people have no issue with them, and at most need 2 or 3 tries with some of the harder bosses.
I wish the “Night of a thousand stars” achievement unlocked after completing Fast mode, also Insane mode made my little cousins cry because they were trying so hard.
For anyone having trouble blocking footballs, try to throw an item backwards (gnome, toy ball, football, log) when the football is doing its little spinning animation on top of you. If you do it before that, sometimes it misses for no reason.
Well I found an easy way to do it load up for controllers and play multiplayer against yourself it eliminates four other players so all you are racing against is with four players you making the fifth player and it does count towards your Grand Prix 🐺🌳
Me and my twin brother have been doing insane mode. But we only manage to get the 1st and 2nd cup 1st in each race. Can somebody here tell me what is the last engine that you get from insane mode? Cause I don't know if you need to be in 1st in all cups, or just beat insane mode.
@@fernandobanda5734 another quick question. Do you think there will be any dlc? Just racers if not tracks? Cause I was thinking of Ahh! Real Monsters with Ickis, Oblina, and Krumm, Angry Beavers with Norbert and Dagget, and The Wild Thornberrys with Eliza and Darwin. I would love to see these characters in a racing game once again. But for Oblina and Krumm, first time.

And one person said that you were one of the people who's name is in the game credits. Is that true that you help made this game? Cause I usually don't watch the credits, so I wouldn't know. Dude I have the same problem. Currently I have 4/8 insane 3*. All of them I got at least 1* and I agree with you. It all comes down to RNG. The CPU rubber band so hard. the last race on first grand prix is rigged 100%. i was winning all games until last one like everytime then get passed literally last second like 4 times last race
You cannot win! It is completely rigged and does screw you over no matter how good at it you are. I have 3 stars in 1 insane cup and 2 on 2 other insane cups but I just cannot do it (not bragging I do consider myself a very good player). Totally sets you up to fail, it’s impossible.
Normally I'd say "get good noob" but I actually agree here. This game is targeted for kids and they put in a difficulty level that is too hard even for adults! So yes, they need to dumb this shit down a bit.
Mario Kart 8 is waaay easier on 200cc than this is on insane, it's such garbage cause the game is actually way better than the first one but there goes my platinum I guess, damn
Dude you have no idea how damn pissed I was when I got 3 starts on the first 3 tracks and then lost in the last track on the first damn cup. To sum it up, yeah it's hard.
I know what you mean I have my car maxed out to full speed and for some reason it is slower than ever for some reason when you pick a fast car it is glitched and they get even faster car which makes no sense it seems like whatever you're using in a fast vehicle the AI gets a faster faster faster vehicle which is completely unfair I know how you feel it is 100% B Shit
Here's some tips: AI always looks to take turns by the outer side of the road Use mrs bitters to block the middle with her freebie gnome Use the big heads as chief crew, they have long range and can hit both racers that try go pass you AND obstacles like gnomes and Sam's canisters. Avatar state destroys the Queen Jelly fish and Dr. Hutchinson reduces how much time it stuns you. Go for a stat spread that gives you high boost and somewhat decent turning and drift.
I got 3 stars on the first cup. But this second cup I literally can’t even place first. I can play perfectly, block all items, take shortcuts. Somehow fucking Gerald or Korra always magically passes me. Also have top speed with my setup. Absolutely ridiculous.
If you're not getting hit but they're passing you, then you're maybe not invested enough in turbo stat and boosts? Foodcourtia is very hard for some reason, but the rest of the cup aren't that bad. Lisa slows down and also hinders their boosts, so after you get near they won't pass you. Sam can also cheese bots if you leave the Thermos in shortcuts, they always fall for it. But for both of those you absolutely need to boost to get close in insane.
I do thankfully. I used Patrick, Potato Clock engine, Trash Can wheels, Rocket exhaust pipes. Gaz chief (important), Mr. Sunshine & Flying Dutchman. Crew members don't really matter though. @@SpongeFan-nt4gz I like to balance my crew team with 1 attack, 1 defense and 1 speed-oriented members. For example, Bow Bow (protection), Abner (guaranteed football) and Mrs. Puff (easier blue-spark drifts). Other very good chiefs and crews are Bigheads, April, Lynn, Tucker, Vlad, Grandpa Phil, RRBM, Rancid Rabbit. See what works best for you. I would say: Be aware of when to defend yourself and when to just take a hit. Abuse the jellyfish, if 2nd place is nearby, brake, if you're close to overtaking 1st place, don't; there are also blindspots where the jellyfish can't reach you like in shortcuts. Use your items and skills as much as you can, obviously don't waste them but be mindful of how little they take to recharge sometimes. Master where you can drift in the tracks if you're going for that; if you don't, then prioritize speed and turbo instead.
@@fernandobanda5734 did you know that avatar move can destroy the jellyfish? Although getting that power up is rare And I noticed the jellyfish ignoring you if you take a shortcut, happened on the haunted house and I thought I was gonna lose
This is not even about skill or difficulty, the developers did some easy stupid difficulty where it says no matter how good u r and how far away u get to AI, the AI will have to catch up to u no matter what as opposed to Crash CTR, where if u get good at time trials u can easily best insane mode, here no way it's just luck
And also can someone tell me if there's going to be dlc for this game? Cause the 1st nicktoons racing game back in 2000, it had Ickis from Ahhh! Real Monsters, but he's not in this game. And neither are Norbert and Dagget from Angry Beavers. And also Eliza and Darwin from The Wild Thornberrys need to be in this game. I would like to see them as dlc racers, along with Ickis's friends Krumm and Oblina to be racers as well.
I have just one star from a 100% Game completion in this game and that is in insane mode. Sure its challenging, but it is doable. Just practice in Free race if you have to. You can do it. Believe. Update 11/20/20 - I DID IT!!!!

Yes, you need 3 stars in all cups and all 4 difficulties for the Platinum. Some of the best chiefs: Lynn, Bow Bow, April, Bigheads, Gaz Other good crew members: Abner, Eugene, Dr. Hutchinson, Tucker, Really Really Big Man, Mrs. Puff, Grandpa Phil Good luck!
Already seen people with the platinum badge, so it's not impossible. But trying to get 3 stars in your first try is a mistake. In any case, jellyfish is nerfed now, so it should be much easier.
@@duwanbradley8329 The amount of time you lose is much less compared to day one. You can stop them with the Avatar state, Bolin can help you get it, you can brake so that you're 2nd before it locks onto a driver, and certain shortcuts and alternate paths are blind spots for the jellyfish.
@@fernandobanda5734 I attempted this. Yes this does work with the Avatar's item box when available. It's kinda hard to go in 2nd place when you already struggled to reach first place then all of a sudden a whole barrage of jellyfish seems to come after you. When it hits the A.I's it doesn't seem super effective vs the actual player getting hit with it. Also yes I do see that they're blind spotted sometimes ONLY when your at a short cut. But the timing has to be sooo perfect. Soon as it hits you you're at least at 2nd or 3rd esp last minute smh
@@duwanbradley8329 Ir you have a big lead don't brake. But if you don't, yes, you're struggling to be first, but you'll be first after the hit. There's obviously no easy way out, that's the point of the jellyfish. I'm just mentioning everything you can do. If you're 3rd after being hit, then definitely brake to 2nd place or stay in 2nd place when you see the warning. Other advice: Eugene and Hutchinson minimize the damage.
