How the hell is this not one of the most respected and regarded bands of the decade? Ney Smokes! Nicki is Gold and Tim is an icon at this point. As far as I'm concerned, this is a super group.
Words just leave me when I try to describe the Gramblers. The depth of the complex layers of talent, the creative writing and the deep feeling is overwhelming. I still hear things within their songs that I maybe missed the first few listening’s. I have not been taking over by a music group or artists, since the Band, dead and little feet. I just so glad to be a part of this amazing ride. I cannot wait to see them perform
I only just discovered Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers via a Facebook share... And BLAM! i was blown away, now i'm totally addicted and it's refreshing to hear and see some talent and great music being presented. Well done all :-)
This is real music 100% real! These kind of bands don't get enough credit. It's sad that there's a lot of music out there that's all doctored up to where u go see them in concert & they sound like ishhh! These are real musicians she sounds really good & props to her crew they seem like cool dudes & to find out they're West coasters w/ west coast style I luv it
nosmodify nargally No its not, real music is written, the notes are written, and the music is played on instruments by the people who wrote it. Sorry to burst your bubble, but if hip hop is what you like more power to you. Everybody has their own taste.
I get it. Real music is music that you like, created in ways your familiar with. Thanks for clearing that up. 60 years ago you probably would have been have been saying how rock music isn't real because real music is played without electricity.

It continues to exist but not within the context of your mind. But this begs the question, if all the trees fell down except one, would you hear the silence of the one?
Donald Dawson You might want to go ahead and get used to the "HipHop Trash". According to National Geographic, in two years white babies will be on an even keel with overall minorities in this Country. Asian,, Latino, then Black will dominate. You can feel the change in the music and television programming already obviously. I guess my point is.. we ain't seen nothing yet!

This was the video that sold me on Niki Bluhm AND The Gramblers. I bought and listened to everything else they did. None of it was this. So I stopped listening. Seems everyone else has too. Blues Niki! Screw folk country pop. Get your band back. Drop the Niki Bluhm. Be "The Gramblers" and play lots of Blues.
Wow, really great to find this band... I like he 3-guitar thing here better then in some of their "all acoustic" vids where it gets muddy. On a weird note, the Big Redheaded guy looks like he could be my cousin and he and I play a lot of very similar riffs... Strange that. Really loving this bands sound aye.
Ron Rice Yep, just goes to show there is no "template" for a great player, it's all about working with what you've got, feeling the music and teaching yourself how to get it to come out of the instrument be it a guitar or your voice and everything in between. Great band.
YES! Jammin!!! You are one of the very few bands I've found on youtube that are awesome. I think you would get much bigger if you took your studio version and made a few videos too. But I dig the live stuff!
