The two characters in the Boa music video represent Drake the character with the hockey jersey something that Drake is well associated with and in his fashion . Nicki Minaj being portrayed as a Asian woman is a direct correlation to her style choices, and Nicki coming up in the industry, which made her popular. Both only want to fight Megan on social media. The music video alludes to their demise through her direct approach via her music. The way the Asian character is KO in this mv similar to how Nicki Minaj lost her mind when Hiss was dropped. The Asian character strangulated by a cobra she lost oxygen to her brain is a direct representation of that. The play on imagery and detail is beautiful I love this a graphic design major and anime nerd.
