Allowing the designer to shine was one thing, but to let the make up artist also pop her sh*T was such a queen thing for Nicki to do. She was absolutely best dressed and its because she allowed her team to take full control and let them do what they know how to do best. Kudos to everybody involved in this beautiful masterpiece of an execution.

Instead, she just described him as "Asian and everything" and after backlash in a (now deleted) video she tried to justifiy herself by saying she was nervous and forgot. however didn't apologize and still never mentioned the designer's name in her explanation video lol and instead shaded another former Vogue director who happens to be Asian 😅

Did she have the best look? YES! And I dont just say that because I love her. This look just screamed her personality, it was harajuku coded for sure but what really made me love it, was the fact not only did it look like art it WAS an actual piece of ART that was thoughtfully and carefully handcrafted. It wasn’t overpowering but it was also head turning, jaw dropping gorgeous. It was perfect for her. The hair went perfectly too she couldn’t have did any better!!!!!

Latisha’s makeup was perfect and really pulled everything in to look so natural… the look was extravagant, but the makeup really zoned in and humbled it in the best way. Oh I enjoyed this. We got to see the designer explain us through his interpretation of the theme which he got spot on and how they all worked together to put the whole dress together along with the make up artists and hairstylist. Beautiful Nicki as always 🎀💝
