A big misconception people have is thinking weed is legal in Amsterdam, it's NOT. It's tolerated, there's a big difference between those terms. Alcohol is legal, you can buy, carry and consume as much as you want anywhere in the country. Weed has restrictions therefore it is not legal. You cannot buy as much as you want, only up to 5 grams. Same goes for carrying, otherwise you will be seen and arrested for drug distribution. You also are not allowed to smoke in certain public places. There are rules and restrictions when it comes to weed in Amsterdam. And it being tolerated ONLY applies to Amsterdam. In any other city in the Netherlands weed is ILLEGAL and you CANNOT smoke in public.

Different places have different laws regarding recording the police, when you get a lawyer, how arrests and court goes. You also can’t take drugs out of one country into another, even if that drug is legal in both countries. They do not care about the fact that you are american nor do they follow our laws. Weed is legal yes, but transporting it isn't. since it was a first offense she only got a fine, but she knew what she was doing was wrong because her bodyguard claimed it was his and nicki just put it in her luggage which doesnt make any sense because why would his weed be in nickis belongings, she would have had to know about if its with her then when shes being stopped shes acting like the victim which shes not cuz she broke the law.
