Both boots look great. Very good choice. I like the 8” more as I ordered same with some little differences. I am worried a bit about the sizing. My iron rangers are 10.5 D. Supposed to be E width but they offer only D and EE. They are very comfortable as the leather has stretched enough. Ordered my Roberts width E. Just wanted to ask you how is the width. I prefer snug fit but not too tight.Thank you!
Gday mate! Thanks for the comment. I have a pair of Iron Rangers in a 10D and they are my most comfortable boot I own. Like you when they gave a little really fit nicely. I believe the iron Ranger is a great comparison to Nicks Boots sizing wise. If you have ordered a 10.5 E in nicks Roberts, I think you have hit the mark perfectly. My nicks Roberts are 10E, so same as you just I am .5 shorter. Hope that helps / answers your question.

My Rangers are really very comfortable, like my second socks.I don’t wear any other shoes for last ten years than boots.Mostly Red Wing.I also use to have Wolverine 1000 miles.Very good ones but a bit less durable than the Rangers. Same size 10,5D always with Darn Tough half cushion. Want to try Roberts.People get shocked knowing that I ordered boots for 759$ but for them is normal to buy phone for 1000$.I am owing a second hand phone costs 200$ , using it 1-2 hours a day. In my boots I stay 10-15 hours daily and i don’t mind the price.That is my logic.
Would you recommend going with logger or dogger heel? Can’t decide between the two, dogger worries me if will look feminine… any feedback on heel shape or height would love to hear it
Hi mate, it’s really a personal preference, however the dogger is certainly not feminine. I would say the dogger is the more conservative option, as the logger profile is quite pronounced and not as common, at least where I live (Melbourne Aust). I would like a boot with the moderate heal too but have been happy with the tall classic profile I have. It’s personal preference, hope I have answered your question?
@@collectedovertime3291 All roug out. Nick's customer service is excellent. I was gonna do rough out and smooth out, but I work with heavy machinery and figured the all rough out would be easier to take care of.
